Good Taste for Chinese food — Restaurant in Manchester Township

What a shame that a 1 star rating would be due to a lack of customer service but here it is. Placed a pickup order for 3 combos, 1 soup, 1 app. Husband picked it up and came home. We immediately noticed one of the combos was missing and another had fried rice instead of white. Tried calling but was getting a busy signal so my husband took the receipt and headed back. His was the one missing. I finally get someone on the phone and explain what happened and explained he was on his way back. Well things did not go well, apparently a women (he assumed it was the owner) came flying to the front of the store claiming he was lying and insisting she put it in the bag, he would have to wait for another order because they would not refund and when he asked for a small container of white rice they wanted to charge him. He came back with no dinner, no white rice, and words I can not repeat. What we did receive was our name on a sticky note that says "General Tso Chicken combo" which is stuck on a wall with many others. I moved to town about two years ago and in search for new food places I found this hidden gem and when I tell you this Chinese place has not failed me it, has not failed!! Food is so hot and fresh compared to the other place that is right down the street from my house sadly! But I’ve ordered from here at least 30 times already and they know my address and it makes me feel good that they care about customers like that! Their customer service is fantastic and food is amazing!! I wish I wrote a review soon about this great place! Literally finished placing my dinner order just now can’t wait to eat tonight! Absolutely horrible. We always give an establishment 3 tries to see if it’s consistently bad, or a fluke. This place is consistently bad. The “fried” foods are burned to death in very rancid tasting oil. The beef on a stick was old, and mealy feeling in the mouth. I ordered “Happy Family” lol, anything but. EVERY single item tasted old, and certainly not fresh. Wife ordered Shrimp fried rice......tiny brine shrimp, with white rice. No peas, no onion, nothing. Flavorless, to say the least. We spent $35 and threw the entire order in the trash. This place may have been good once......but that’s not the way...
