Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Manchester Township

This has got to be the most disappointing sandwich that I have ever eaten ... I couldn't even finish it. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and it was 2/3 to 3/4 quarters shredded lettuce. There was hardly any chicken on it, and only two pieces of thin bacon - almost as if they were the condiments and it was a lettuce sandwich. The bread must have been old, because the edges were so hard, they were the consistency of a cracker. If I had dined in, I would have brought the sandwich to the counter and asked for my money back; but it was takeout and I was hungry so I ended up eating half of my lettuce sandwich. Also, the service is lacking - I was standing at the counter, waiting to order for a few minutes, clearly visible to the staff. No one greeted me, finally one of them asked the other guy to take my order. I know it's a fast food joint, so I don't expect stellar service, but this was pretty ridiculous. I've met nicer customer service folks at a McDonald's drive...

A couple of things to know before going to this location: I won't mention the food, it's JJ's, so it's good and fresh. The odd thing about this location is its layout.

First off, the drive thru is for Dunkin ONLY, I was told you can't order Jimmy John's without going in (and the menu board supports this, as it only shows Dunkin items). So for sandwiches, you have to park in the back and walk AROUND the building to go in the front, which is fairly inconvenient, as the building is bigger than just the restaurant portion at the front.

That said, there are two parking spots that are actually in the drive thru lane, so if you go to the speaker for sandwiches and are told to come in, you can park there, but of course only if the spots are available. I definitely recommend the sandwiches, I much prefer them to other chains, and the service was quite good as well. Just be aware of the unusual parking and ordering caveats...

Not all Jimmy John’s are created equal. I was excited when this location first opened as it’s closer to my work.

That said I will not be returning. The quality, preparation and presentation of their food is below par. I’ve ordered the #6 veggie thru the app twice from here and I’m very disappointed. What I got both times was a soggy lettuce sub with virtually no other ingredients hastily thrown together. It was a mess.

I’ve ordered the same from the south end location many times and have ALWAYS gotten great subs. It’s worth the added drive time.

You’ve lost me as a customer and will continue to lose more if whomever is overseeing quality...
