So to make a long story short, me and my family stayed home New Years Day and we didn't cook as we planed . I called in a order at 9:30PM knowing they closed at 10:00PM (by the web) New Years Day and I paid $50.64 for it off my card over the phone and the delivery guy and the food was a no show not even a call. I didn't know if they would deliver it or not but the person that took the order asked and they said yes they would or I would had picked it up. Well the next day I went to the establishment and I talked to the young lady up front at cash register and explained to her about the undelivered food and she looked it up and asked the manager about it. He checked to see who worked and after the front person informed him that I had called in before a while back and had no contact on the order before, that makes a difference he said and he needed to talk to his driver to make sure he delivered to the correct address, promising to call me later that day. Well I don't remember ever calling this place before or knew it existed until I googled the web. Also my son was out side in the car waiting for the food to bring it in the house. The front person told me it would take 40min. I'm a truck driver and I was leaving out in a few days. After a no call, I went back the next day, no manager. I called, no manager. So i went to work (still Pissed from day 1). So I called thinking, I can't believe these people are really trying to take my money with out even offering me the product I paid for or a refund. When they answered, of course the manager wasn't there as the front person went to check. But when she came back, she did inform me that they have voucher in the office with my name on it for $25.00. So they hit my bank for $47.64 plus a $3.00 tip = $50.64, So they can give me a $25.00 Uncommon Pizza Voucher. After this experience and how unprofessionally this was handled by management with not even contacting me after he told me he would and telling his front person to tell about a $25.00 voucher is NOT the way to do business. I want my $50.64 back. I don't even want the food at this point. especially after reading some of the reviews that other people posted. Wow, I don't even...
Read moreWe have ordered from Uncommon Pizza a lot, and had always been satisfied before, but this past Saturday, I placed an order for my coworkers to be picked up by my husband at a specific time. I prepaid for the order, which was for four chicken Caeser salads, a veggie salad, and two large cheese pizzas. When my husband arrived, they told him they had never heard of the order, and didn't know anything about it. He called me, and I told him what the order was for, and he related it to the manager on duty, who eventually gave him the food. After my husband dropped it off, two of the salads were missing dressing, and all four chicken Caeser salads did not indeed have chicken on them at all. I called the restaurant and talked to Matt, and asked for a refund for the chicken upcharge, and he asked for my phone number and said I was entitled to four free salads, and I told him in light of the trouble we had, It was unlikely that I would be ordering any time soon, and I would just like the upcharge for the chicken refunded. Matt said he would refund the four salads, and I said okay. Well, it still hasn't happened, and I don't like being lied to when all I asked him for was to do the right thing and refund the price of the chicken. As a result, I now doubt I will ever ever ever order from them again. I don't feel that asking for a refund of the up charge for chicken that I didn't get is unreasonable. They used to be so good. Now, not so much.
UPDATE: After a couple of weeks went by, the owner, Grant, reached out to me to find out in person about my recent experience. He admitted that they dropped the ball, and apologized. Then today I received a check for an amount about $30.00 more than my order originally cost, and a very kind message. So due to the follow up, and the caring attitude, and the apology, and the refund+, I felt it only right to update my review. My family and I will be giving Uncommon another shot and spend this check on a pizza order when we have time in our busy schedules to do so. Many thanks go out to Grant for going above and beyond my initial...
Read moreI've lived near this place for over 3 years now and finally decided to try it. I was going to order from Dominos but figured I should support a small business instead. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and loaded French fries. Food was good and hot. The French fries were crispy which I like. The Hawaiian pizza could have had more pineapple on it, it had loads of ham and bacon though. A little pricy in my opinion, almost $20 for a 10in pizza and loaded fries. Their ranch dressing is homemade and incredible. I choose pick up and only had to wait a little once there, overall it took a half hour to get my food once placing the order. The check out girl was wearing a mask and sanitizing surfaces which was reassuring to see. However, the cook in the back had his mask pulled all the way down the whole time and did not have a beard net. They are not doing indoor dining right now due to the governor's orders but there were 2 maskless men sitting at a table drinking and talking-not sure if they were employees/owners or not. Overall a decent place but I just wish they wore...
