Having had to stay there to work about 12 years ago on the gas pumping station, I remembered the prices and food were excellent ( simple downhome type fare and lot's of it! Rate the business on what the sell and their personality, not ones ignorance of assumption. All the people at road kill cafe are sweet and down to earth. The food is scrumptious and well worth the drive and the prices are very affordable. I've been going to road kill since they originally opened over 30 years ago. For me it's special trips out that way. But the RoadKill is actually a destination for me allowing me to enjoy riding, and a nice meal. Now if you're the uppity type, you may not find this to your liking. But normal people...
