Went to Armadillo Grill Friday night around 7 pm to celebrate a friend's birthday. After being there about 10 minutes we finally had to ask for chips and salsa. One of us had to ask for a drink 3 times before they brought it to her and when she finally got it it tasted like dish soap. After another 30 minutes passed we had to go ask the waitress if she had forgotten about us since our order still hadn't been taken. She was in the front of the restaurant talking and laughing with another employee. There were 8 of us in the group. When the food was brought out 2 of the orders were wrong. When we told the waitress about it she looked mad and like it was our fault. We had to go get our own silverware, napkins and my drink refill. When we went up front to complain we were cursed at and asked to leave. I am posting this on Facebook and every social media site that I can. I strongly believe the waitresses need to be fired. The waitresses were both young, one Hispanic and one white, the white woman was behind the register. I know alot of people in Coushatta and I'm spreading the word about what happened until the waitresses are fired. We also heard that the waitresses were laughing at the bad comments on line to the people that wrote them. I wish I could give a...
Read moreThe good folks of this region must be starving to death for this place to have a 4.2 rating. Gave it 2 tries, 2 consecutive nights. Tried the crossroads plate(little of everything) and then the fajitas. The only thing I felt was "good" was the tamale that came on the crossroads plate. The ground meat they make here is tasteless and not good. Fajitas are a little better but not very flavorful. Took 40 minutes to make the call in order after telling me 15. No doubt to have me wait on them. All in all just not very good. The taco on the combination plate was stale like it was still raw out of a box. Cold and chewy. Not crunchy. Same with chips first night. Second night chips were a little better. Hot sauce isn't good. First night I had to wait 20 minutes after being seated to get waited on. Food took 5 minutes to make the first night. Was a...
Read moreThe Armadillo Grill is probably my family's new favorite restaurant in the local area. It is our go-to place for Mexican cuisine! The food is extremely tasty. Everything from the appetizers to entrees is perfect to our taste. As vegetarians we usually expect problems to occur-but if you talk to the great staff there, they'll surely help you out. Everyone there is family and gives great service and makes sure we enjoy. The actual restaurant gives off a very authentic vibe too-something that is hard to find in many restaurants these days. Overall, only 5 Stars would be too less of a rating for this...
