Chuck's Steak House and Margarita Grill — Restaurant in Mansfield

As the previous reviews state, clearly something has happened to this restaurant. Arrived around 6pm and asked the hostess if there were any bar specials or any entertainment going on. She was extremely rude and snapped back at us saying no. We then asked for a table for 2, we were seated right away. We ordered a full rack of baby back ribs and a pulled pork enchilada. We were seated on level 2, (if your familiar with the seating arrangement, you know that this is right near the kitchen) it was extremely hard to hear my guest who was with me as we heard screaming from the kitchen and plates being dropped. The service was awful, our waiter never came to check on anything...we always had to flag him down. Granted, it was a Saturday night, but it was not packed to capacity. When the food came out, the enchilada tasted awful. My guest who was with me, tried the sour cream and it tasted horribly and the meat was not hot inside (cold meat). We had to flag the waiter down to let him know that it was not right, and he said ok...well if you place an order now it will take a long time because the kitchen is backed up so are you ok eating the rest of the ribs (I ordered a full rack with the intention of taking half home). So this worked out ok, because my guest had something to eat. Meanwhile we were still finishing our salad. I ordered a regular salad with honey mustard dressing. It was ok...the dressing was very spicy for a honey mustard.

At the end of the meal we were hoping a manger would stop by because of all the issues we were having...never happened. The waiter came over dropped the check off and said I took the other meal off the bill said thanks and walked away. We paid our tab and went home.

On the drive home, our stomachs were extremely upset and when we got home...let's just say things weren't good. We are convinced that we got food poisoning seeing we ate the same things and were sick at the same times.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE FOOD, = NEVER...

Thought this would be a great place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.... was I wrong! The venue is great but the service and food were a bust. We chose to sit upstairs for a meal and drinks figuring the bar would be very busy and we wanted to enjoy a good meal and conversation. Our server Sarah brought a round of drinks and water .... never asked again if we wanted a refill or another margarita.....The appetizer was delivered and she never checked to see if everything was ok we did not see her again until 15 minutes after dinner arrived and one of the dishes had unfortunately arrived cold... when we told her She asked if it could be remade but at that point my companion was already done with dinner so there was no point. There was no apology no other conversation She left again not to return for another 15 minutes with a to go box. If I was not going to eat the food that I ordered because it was cold why would I want to bring it home? We asked for the check which arrived another 20 minutes later with the price of the meal still on the check and a promotional discount of $5.00. Sarah came back 7 minutes later and we asked if she could remove the cost of the meal and she told us she already had....NOT.... again we wait for 10 minutes for a new check. She promptly came back to pick it up and now is where the rubber meets the road for her.... we had more interaction in that 30’seconds when it’s time to collect a tip. She told us if there was anything else she could do to take care of things she would. What is there to do now? At the time we arrived it was not terribly busy upstairs. There were many empty tables. Had Sarah been attentive and checked in she probably could have changed the vibe of the evening but she completely ignored us. It was extremely frustrating as we watched other tables with attentive staff. Chucks is off the...

If i could give no stars i would! First of all the restaurant was extremely crowded,the service was subpar and took forever,and the drinks were expensive and not good at all. The foolr was slipery and wet the entire evening the table we were set at had a poor attempt at being cleaned. The waitress seemed more into getting us drinks than taking our order for food. Once the food order was placed it took some time to get our order also once the food came out it was extremely disappointing. My wifes 36$ steak was some really cheap piece of meat and not cooked well at all. I ordered the Mexican sampler plate. The food had no Mexican flavor at all.. the 17$ shrimp tacos were inedible.. the taco that came on my sampler plate was horrible with the ground beef tasting like something you may get at a hospital cafeteria. To top the evening off when the waitress took our mkney and brought back the change.. we jad told her that there was no cjange and that was for her.. she complained that our tip was not generous enough and demanded to know why.. i have never in my life had a waitress or waiter ask for more money.. in short if you want good food good drinks and good service.. THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE.. If you dont care about any of this and just enjoy throwing money away then jave at it. I personally will never...
