Cedar Creek Cafe — Restaurant in Manton

EDIT: I'm leaving my original review below but today was a first for me. After going in for Father's Day breakfast, we waited over an hour for food. It started off with great service, but after awhile, it felt like the waitresses were avoiding us. Finally I asked how long and was told after they checked that it was two orders before ours. We left. I've never walked out of a restaurant in my life. Now we're hangry and went to cadillac to get some actual service.

I really want them to be successful in manton but it won't happen if this keeps up. It's wholly unacceptable. Manage your kitchen better or close up shop.

Horrible! Out of potatoes on a Sunday morning? How do you run out of potatoes on a Sunday morning when your the only restaurant in town serving breakfast? $9 for 2 cups of coffee and a pop. I went alone on a Sunday. It was busy. I ordered a bowl of stew with a biscuit. It should have been quick but I had to wait over 30 minutes. The biscuit was split and warmed on the grill. It was excellent. The stew meat was good. However the gravy tasted like it came from a mix. There were two little pieces of potato in the bowl.
