Herb's Bar — Restaurant in Maple Ridge Township

You know, I've lived in the Rock area for a while now, but only today did I decide to drop into Herb's. Seems that the reviews were completely right; this place is pretty great!

The bar looks and feels friendly and clean, the staff is very attentive despite having so much to do, and the atmosphere is really nice. And, of course, the food is some of the best you can get, in the Upper Peninsula and it's really reasonably-priced, too!

Herb's is truly one of a kind. The staff is so pleasant, the food is always spectacular, the fellow patrons have been very friendly every time I have visited, and the Herb's merchandise is unbelievably well made and high quality. 53 years ago when I was 12 years old, my dad took me into herbs bar to celebrate my first deer. A monster 8 point buck. Mmwe used the pay phone to call home and check in with my mom. We were from down state. All the locals came and shook my hand and bought me a coke and a bag of chips. My first in a bar, sharing that golden moment with my dad. A memory I have never forgot shared with a wonderful dad who left me years ago but the memories will never be forgotten....
