This was on the menu advertised as a muffuletta sandwich. Yum, I thought. $16, a little pricey but if it’s good, no problem. Then this came. I don’t know what you picture when you think sandwich, but I at least hope for something between 2 slices of bread that can be picked up and bitten into. This was a 3/4 inch cross section of a sandwich. And that is all it was. For $16. No more than a third of a real sandwich, and impossible to pick up to eat because as I mentioned, this was a thin cross section of a sandwich laid on its side on a plate. For $16. It was tasty, and if it was a six dollar appetizer no problem. I felt insulted and taken advantage of.

Tbh quite good for a golf course resturaunt and probably the best resturaunt in the area Fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - hit the spot so hard Chopped salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - wouldn't add chicken next time - think I'd get the garden one next time Onion rings ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - so crunchy - not a big serving on the happy hour menu - loved the honey mustard Burger ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - got the normal burger, apparently the happy hour burger was half the size - this one came with fries - Vegetables were fresh Garlic fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - just normal fries hit harder for me

Went on a cold sunny day just after opening. Place was empty aside from my husband and I and it felt like a treat! The dining area’s huge windows and nice chairs are great. Food was pricey for a casual week day lunch, but excellent. I got chicken with mushroom risotto and would go back just for that! The sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve had, skinny and extra crispy. Would love to go back sometime in the summer to try the white cheddar Mac n cheese and enjoy the sunshine.

The Grill in the Woods is located at Druids Glenn Golf Club. It is pretty much what you would expect atmosphere wise. The food was actually good. I had a hamburger that was better than some of the more expensive restaurants I've eaten at. The wife had the fish tacos, which she said were very good, but for the price, there should have been 3, not 2. The desserts were cheese cake, which was good because cheese cake. The waitress was very young, attentive, but not experienced and not at all talkative. The cocktails were terrible. The pomegranate Drop tasted like soap. I tasted two others, and one was supposed to be blueberries and tasted like lavender. The other was made with carrot juice and just tasted bad. The good news is they had some good beer choices. Good for food, bad for cocktails, good for beer, no...

Wait staff was ok- we were seated at a table that hadn't been cleared. The host grabbed the plates and wiped the table, but didn't do a very good job wiping it down. Then he didn't give us silverware (we had to ask after our food was served for napkins).

I watched the same situation play out on a neighboring table as well.

Menu was different from what I found online- which was a bummer because I was planning on some meatless options that sounded good. Unfortunately Mac and cheese was the only meat free option. Since I do eat fish, I went for the tuna sandwich, but really wanted something vegetarian. The sweet potato fries were OK but a generous portion. My husband said the burger was ok. The fries were tasty. Seemed overpriced for a tuna fish sandwich.

Decor was nice and pleasant as was the view...

Glad to have recently discovered this hidden spot. I had take out and very much enjoyed the food. Got some mixed drinks to go as well which were nice and especially boozy. The staff was cool and welcoming. And the views over the golf fields are nice as well, if you're into that sort of thing.

One issue I have is how inconvenient it was to find the actual restaurant. There are no signs on the building or entrance letting you know whether you're at the right building. The GPS gets you close but then there are a couple of buildings, both of which are difficult to identify without going inside.

I'd gladly bump it up to a 5 stars review if and whenever they take measures to address...
