I had a mixed experience at Marlin's on Cliff Avenue, but one person truly made a difference. Alyssa, our server, was incredibly kind, respectful, and genuine. Her sincere desire to provide the best service possible was clear, and she made our visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I've worked in several kitchens over the last twenty years so I tend to understand slower cook times when a restaurant is busy. We got our drinks then waited 15 minutes before our order was taken.
