i give 3 amigos 1 star, for the one meal that was made correctly. there has been 3 other times where i got food that there was something incorrect about my order, which was the same food over and over again (a chicken fajita with only rice and no other sides, and queso on top of the fajita mix with flour tortillas). 1.the peppers were never cooked to be "soft" they were always crunchy. 2. the chicken has always been overcooked. 3. i have never received queso on my fajitas even though i had paid the extra to get it. 4. many times i call at the end of the night to order after my night shift (630pm-8pm) and no one ever answers--- this ends up to be that the restaurant closed before their closing times; except on rare occasion i am able to get ahold of someone and get a rude attitude from the staff. at times of being charged for queso and not receiving it, i have called back to ask for a credit for next time or a refund, everytime i get placed on hold saying they need to talk to a manger and wait for minutes... then i ask for them to call back when they are able to to see if this is a possibility. i have never gotten a refund or credit or anything in return of my order being incorrect. i am not the one to leave reviews, but after multiple experiences of my food being incorrect, i felt that my voice needed to be heard. as a local business, i was looking forwarded to support; however, i feel that i will not be returning after all of these occurrences. maybe if the business would like to make it right, i would be willingly to try again. after spending $15 on a fajita and it not even be made correctly or the effort to make it correct, I am...
Read moreI want to start off by saying the owner is very nice and very attentive. We stopped here after their amazing showing at the Edgar steam show. Service ( not from the owner ) I’d give a 1. We sat down and were basically ignored by the waitress. The owner came over to make sure we got menus and drinks. The chips with the salsa tasted old and not crispy. The salsa was good. My food was decent, nice flavor. However my bfs was supposed to be deep fried and came out boiled? And was mildly cold. Our dishes were not cleared away. Maybe some better training on customer service? 🤷♀️ sorry but I wasn’t impressed with the waitress. Sorry to say. I really wanted to love this place. We tried their food at the steam show. But for me personally, it’s a no thank you. Others may have different experiences but this was mine, sorry to say. However the owner is very nice and personable and readily on the floor so there’s that. 🤷♀️ We ate in and the atmosphere is nice, main area was clean. Bathroom needed a bit...
Read moreUpdated 04/2022. A second trip back to restaurant. Served Herradura as the top shelf tequila. OMG my personal fav. 5 stars there. Handmade margaritas- best in the area. The salsa is now mild with more flavor and cilantro served with thin crispy chips. If you ask for spicy salsa expect medium plus heat.
The shredded chicken chimichanga with a side of caramelized onions and peppers was better than most. The chicken is moist with really good flavors. Included was a healthy serving of lettuce with tomatoes, sour cream (no extra charge) with rice and beans.
My husband had the special which was similar to the fajita. He can be a tough critic But was thoroughly impressed.
We shared dessert of the flan- similar to custard pie. Excellent! Save room for it. Worth it!
Overall I was very pleased. I’ll be back...
