Amy's Fabulous Diner II — Restaurant in Marcellus Township

Apon walking in. There was not one single clean table. We decided we would sit anyway due to there being good reviews. Waitress came over and wanted to set our table without cleaning it? Ok so asked her to clean it first. This was 12:05 on a Sunday. Yes they were busy. We got coffee and tea. I had to ask for coffee refills And that was before our order was even taken. Order taken at 12:25. We sat and sat and sat and watched every other person coming I'm after us getting served food. So we inquired where our food was. It took another solid 5 minutes of hearing nothing. meanwhile more food coming out to customers that walked in way after us. Asked waitress to just ring our drinks up so we can leave and eat somewhere else. Another 5 minutes goes by. I'm livid at this point. I leave 3$ on the table and we walk out. Forgot my phone after getting 4 miles away. Turn around. I walked back in. Waitress looks at me but says nothing. my phone still sitting at the table with 3$ sitting there still. I had lunch yesterday (2/20/24), and as a regular for many years I was very disappointed. I ordered a burger, fries and a coffee. The burger appeared to be a lot smaller than I have had many times in the past, but it was the price that I had a problem with. For a plain burger no cheese and no toppings it was $12.00, French fries $4.00, and coffee $3.00. Total not including tip $19.00. Just stopped into a great new diner on the edge of town. Wakey Jakes. The coffee, stuffed hashbrowns and great hometown feel will soon make this a locals favorite. I also tried a cinnamon crunch pancake which was incredible and my friends all had unique breakfast "bennies" (Benedict).
