Hardee’s — Restaurant in Marengo Township

I stopped through the drive thru here while on the road with a few friends for a few bites of nostalgia as I hadn't had anything from Hardee's in years. With that being said, I have only ever been through the drive thru here so I cannot comment on anything regarding the inside of this establishment. It is conveniently attached to a truck stop/gas station though so if you're on the road you could definitely make this a one stop shop if you're hungry, need to fill up the gas tank, let your dog play in the dog park, or maybe you're super sweaty from watching cops on your road trip and need a shower—which you can also do here. But we're talking about Hardee's here so let's move on.

I want to lead off by saying that this location has some of the most friendly fast food employees that I have ever run across at any fast food establishment (not just Hardee's). They're also efficient and accurate when it comes to ordering. We had a car full of people and ordered accordingly and we received everything that we ordered—and it was seemingly hot and fresh. The gentleman at the window even encouraged us to double check to make sure everything we ordered was in the bag—which I thought was awesome.

There was little to no wait in the drive thru when we stopped by, which I found to be extremely convenient as we were ultimately on our way to somewhere else and didn't have long to spend waiting for food.

The literal one and only complaint I have about this place is the food itself—and that isn't based on this location, the food they serve here (even when hot and fresh) just isn't that good. After I ate what I ordered it made sense as to why it had been years since I had ventured into a Hardee's, and that is fine because plenty of people do like it, it really just isn't for me.

When all is said and done if you're out on the road looking for an affordable and edible bite to eat, where you also get very good and friendly service then this...

The lady who took my order was the only decent experience I had at this facility. I had got a chicken sandwich number #11 with curly fries and a strawberry shake. The fires were just thrown in my bag then most of my fries were not even curly fires maybe about 3 along with they were old barley warm and not all the way even done! I had watched a male employee rub his nose and get right back to work with a customer at the front area touching cups then handing it to a customer?? The waiting/eating area stunk of feet so bad I don’t even know what could have gave it that smell! I watched one employee walk right past me tellin another person to do their job wearing chains with a hoodie over his head not very professional at all only thing I did see professional was the man on the headset taking an order and the lady who took my order. Please do better in this...

We went to get breakfast this morning and decided to give Hardee's a second chance. The last time we were there the wait time was ridiculous and the food came out cold and portions were so small a toddler couldn't get full. Well Hardee's was a huge disappointment yet again. The Hardee's in Marshall, Michigan really needs to step it up. My Frisco sandwich was NOT toasted, it looked like they split 1 egg between my sandwich and my husband's sandwich. The cheese was not melted on either sandwich and yet another cold meal from Hardee's. Mind you, there was no one in the lobby and 1 car in the drive thru, so they were not busy and had time to hand out warm food. The lady who took our order acted like we were putting her out by having to take our order. We will NOT be giving Hardee's in Marshall a 3rd time. We have wasted enough money there and will not give...
