Rum Runners Cove Inn - Vickery, OH — Restaurant in Margaretta Township

As a local in the landing and local business owner, this place has been kind of a deserted place. Not saying it a great place since the previous owner, but it’s way more little costly and the attentiveness of just the owner managing the bar is not the greatest, due to she is just one person. The lack of training of customer service skills was kind of poor. The food was something that I was not able to try, as there were out of wings, and further explained by the owner, she does not have the time to get more wings? Not really sure as to why there was not a sign saying wings were out? Either way, the atmosphere is better, but nothing to boast about yet. I guess I’ll try again in a few months, maybe service and food...

I thought the cove in was a wonderful excellent place to go it was a nice friendly atmosphere the views was wonderful probably the best wings I've had in the last 20 years if you haven't been there it's a must see if you're ever in the Sandusky Ohio area I give it two thumbs up but that's only because I have two hands if I had three hands you'd have three thumbs the guy that worked behind the bar I think his name was Jim but it might be cliff but he was a great guy wonderful customer service I highly recommend you your family your family's friends and all y'all come down for a great wonderful time on the lake and do some fishing while...

We moved out to the neighborhood during the "Pandemic" so didn't get much of a chance to try this place out. This past weekend we ordered a pizza to go, walked over and picked it up.

For such a small place I fully expected to get a Red Baron or Jacks pizza. That certainly wasn't the case, the pizza actually seemed more like homemade, definitely fresh at the very least.

Hopefully they can return to a full menu soon so we can visit for another dinner and drinks. The interior seemed really cool and obviously in the summer it is a great location...
