If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience in Maricopa, look no further than Mandy's Wine Bar. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the inviting ambiance and the warm hospitality of the staff.
We began our evening with a couple of delightful cocktails. The Blackberry Smash was a perfect blend of sweetness and boozy goodness, while the Hibiscus and Tonic offered a refreshing and light flavor profile. To start, we indulged in the charcuterie board, a delectable assortment of cured meats, cheeses, and olives that was both flavorful and visually appealing.
For our main courses, we were blown away by the culinary artistry. The wild mushroom and cauliflower orzo was a masterpiece, with the substitution of butterfly prawns adding a delightful twist. Mandy's homemade lasagna was another standout dish, packed with rich, savory flavors that left us wanting more.
To cap off our meal, we couldn't resist trying the lemon tart. This delicate dessert was the perfect ending to our evening, with its buttery crust and tangy filling.
The service at Mandy's Wine Bar was impeccable. Our server, Jeanne, was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with a mix of laughter and conversation filling the room.
While the restaurant's current lighting is pleasant, I believe that a slightly more subdued ambiance (dim the lights a little) would elevate the experience to an even higher level.
Overall, Mandy's Wine Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a truly exceptional dining experience in Maricopa. With its delicious food, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere, it is undoubtedly THE BEST place to be in town. Thank...
Read moreI went last night, this was actually my second time visiting within a week. My first visit was great, no complaints. Went again last night because I wanted to try some different things on the menu. We had the same waitress, she’s amazing, no complaints towards her at all. I ordered the caprese bruschetta, the description says the items would be chopped, they weren’t chopped, they were sliced. I ate a small amount trying to enjoy it but it was not enjoyable, the taste was there but not enjoyable to eat because the stuff wasn’t chopped, it was sliced. I explained to the waitress who completely understood what I was saying and even agreed that she had the same experience. It’s literally hard to eat. The waitress offered to take it back and have the chef chop it more finely, I declined and she said she would have it taken off the bill. At the end, she brought the bill and said the manager would not take it off, instead offered a free gelato for my NEXT visit. I asked to see the manager so she can explain why it wasn’t being taken off the bill. Manager said because I ate some of it. I wish I took a picture, I ate a piece of it, trying to still enjoy it despite it not being what I expected based on the description. Manager refused, she instead offered 15% off which was literally less than $1 off. I didn’t want the free gelato, I don’t even like gelato, I simply wanted to be comped the $6 I was being charged for something I did not eat. I’m new to the area looking for spots to enjoy. I...
Read moreI went for lunch with a few girlfriends and I wasn't impressed. We were given menus but told we couldn't order any entrees, pizzas, sharables or paninis. Why are customers given menus where you can't order more than half of what's on it? That was very limiting. Originally, I ordered the eggs benedict until I asked what side came with it since it didn't say and I was told it didn't come with a side because they're a la carte. Umm, what? I think Mandy thinks she's running a fancy Michelin star restaurant. They want people to pay $15 for an eggs benedict but won't provide a side? So I asked to add their country potatoes but was told they don't have potatoes. At first we thought they somehow ran out of potatoes but we were told they don't serve any potato sides for their food items. First off, what? No potatoes? Second, it's on the menu! While my friends put in their orders I kept thinking how expensive this is. So I cancelled my eggs benedict and ordered the avocado toast instead, and a mojito. I thought as long as everything tasted good then it is what it is. But nope. The mojito was watered down and the avocado toast was sooo tiny and very plain tasting. No seasoning whatsoever and the mozzarella wasn't melted. I finished my teeny plate in about 4 bites. I have no desire to go back here. It's just not worth the money or the stinginess. It's very sad because I was really hoping this would've been a regular place I could go to in Maricopa. I'd rather make the drive to...
