Poor Boy 77 Cafe — Restaurant in Marietta

I went to this establishment at around 8pm on a Thursday evening. I was the only patron in the restaurant. Although, one pick-up customer came and went while I was there. The restaurant was clean and tidy, offering a mix of regular tables and booths. The server seated me right away and was very helpful and friendly with recommendations. I opted for the chicken fried steak dinner, with baked potato and salad. The dish included Texas toast. The food was prepared and delivered in a timely manner. The salad was just right. The baked potato was good, along with the Texas toast and cream gravy. The steak was battered just right and had a good taste. However, the cut of meat was terrible, full of gristle, barely edible. I kindly advised the server of the poor quality, suggesting they have a look at the cuts of meat they were using. For my trouble, the server did not charge me for...

Traveling through. Google for best breakfast in the area and this place seemed to be it! The menu said $8.99 for a choice of Omelet, and a side and water which seemed very reasonable!

Very friendly service, decent food so far so good. However, when I went to pay, the charge was $10.29. I just paid it bc that seemed to be more in line with today's prices. But I guess the menus have not been updated.

But then, stepped into the men's bathroom, I about puked to think about what the kitchen might look like if the bathrooms are in this kind of shape! See picture.

I never take the time to write a bad post because sometimes people have bad days but this place has been going down hill for awhile always long wait times and not always the right food or even cooked all the way. But today was my final straw they officially give the worst trash service I have ever seen and when you ask to speak to the manager he gets a attitude with you and shrugs you off as if you are nothing an don't matter guess the don't like to make sure things get fixed...
