Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton

Domino's is always there for us, we eat it often since it's the only place on base that delivers. I am sure their demand is high due to this.

When it's a 2 hour wait or systems are down, that's understandable. They now even have to go off base to get back on base due to road closures.

That's not the problem. The last 2 times we have ordered they have arrived with missing items and I am not talking about sauces. The first time was a whole pizza, the next time was wings and a bacon jalapeño bread [2 items]. The driver is always kind and apologies, says they will get it right out.

Today, was the same. We waited over an 1.5 since he left. Before calling.

The first person I talked to did not ask my information or what the missing items had been, just said I can't look up your order right now. Im sure the driver is almost there. And before I could respond hung up. I called back, got another person, explained why I was calling and that I was just hung up on. And that I just would like an update. He at least got my info and looked up the order, though he kept cutting me off. He said the items are leaving now, I asked since it had been so long are those items fresh amd what the delay was, or are they just sending out what was supposed to go out 1.5hours ago, he said I am sure fresh. And again hung up. We are now technically at over 2 hours since my order was placed, and just over 1.5hrs since my order originally arrived when the items where missing.

I understand being busy. I even made sure to try to be extra nice and calm because of how busy they are but I just don't know how to have hope things will either improve or that they at least could treat us nicely. With the force of a thousand pepperoni-powered rockets, he blazed through traffic, defied physics, and possibly time-traveled to get my Domino’s order to my doorstep before I could even set the table. I blinked—and there he was: Helmet slightly tilted, pizza bag in hand, cape of garlic-scented destiny flowing behind him (okay maybe it was his jacket but it felt epic). This wasn’t just a delivery—it was a culinary rescue mission. My hunger? Defeated. My faith in humanity? Restored. My pizza? Still hot like it just came out of the oven, and cheese-stretchy in a way that made angels weep. He handed over the box like he was presenting the Crown Jewels. And yes, he called me by name. "Here you go, enjoy!" He might as well have said, “For the good of the galaxy, your extra-cheese with garlic crust has been secured.” And the precision! Pizza upright, no cheese slide. Soda cold. Being that Dominos is the only place in the 52 Area of Camp Pendleton that delivers they have a great monopoly on all of the young Marines in the area so this leads me to believe that customer service for them has completely gone out the window because they know they’ll get sales no matter what. On 3 different occasions I have ordered food to be delivered and the pizza tracker told me it was on its way but it never came. I called back on each occasion trying to either have my pizza delivered or get my money back but I was on hold for over twenty minutes each time and when someone did finally pick up they ended the call immediately. The times my order has come it is ALWAYS 30+ minutes later than it says it will be and the food is often cold when it arrives. To top it all off the food at this dominos in particular is never up to par with food I have eaten at other dominos franchises. Horrible customer service, horrible food, and staff that literally does not care. I am in contact with Dominos corporate and will ensure that this franchise is cleaned out of the scum it has working there and new efficient management is set in place to better serve...
