Local favorite?? It should be a National Favorite. Every town and city needs a place like this. We chose a place to eat breakfast and changed our minds at the last minute and came here. Walked into a open mic comedy club. The staff, Becky and Kelly had us and everyone else laughing the whole time we were here. The bartender, WOW, he kicked in his 2 cents also, keeping the guests rolling and laughing. People we're introducing themselves to each other like they knew them for years. I told Becky I was going to answer the phone and say, I'm just a customer answering the phone, and someone with a higher intelligence level will be right with them. Becky busted out laughing, and said I'd fit right in with there quick witted team. Food?? Ya, a lot of down home cookin that's extremely hard to find now days. Taste, all the food was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We wanted to stay for food later in the day, but we were traveling across Wisconsin, so we had to sadly leave. Updating my post. I was here recently on a Thursday to find out that Apple Jacks helps sponsor this $5 lunch for senior citizens in conjunction with the Marinette County Elderly Services. The atmosphere was amazing. It was great to see everyone greet the seniors and the seniors enjoying this lovely meal. What a great way to give back to the community and help those in need!! The staff was welcoming, the seniors had a great time. The lunches looked great. This is by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Marinette. The perch I had was wonderful!! I encourage everyone to stop by and support this business. You will not be disappointed!! Great food. Grilled chicken salad was excellent as was the chicken and perch and taco salad.
