I read reviews saying that this place was authentic mexican food. I must say these people are sadly mistaken. I've been around a lot of mexican restaurants and this is by far one of the worst ones. They say first impression aren't everything, but from the outside this place looks run down. Tried to keep an open mind. Walked in and the decor wasn't bad. Wasn't great either. When I got to my table I had to either look online for the menu or scan the code on the wall. When I look at the menu online I thought this sounded good. I ordered the Nazaret’s special mix. A combination of pork, chicken, steak, shrimp and Mexican sausage all deliciously grilled with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and mushroom. Served with rice, beans, salad and tortillas.15.00. I will tell you it wasn't worth the 15 bucks. My food tasted over cooked. You can look in my picture and see that some of the stuff was burnt. My other half ordered a full steak quesadilla but only got a half. And even worse was the waitress never came back to our table the whole time I was there. Well good thing I never needed a refill of my drink. Or needed to make a comment about how the waitress didn't give my other half what she ordered or that my food was burnt. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I guess the locals here only know this to be the standard. But I would suggest traveling around cause this restaurant...
Read moreLet me preface this by telling you that I am on the road four days a week for the last 15 years. They say that I eat out a lot as an understatement. My daughter and I got there at 12:15 in the afternoon and the two waitresses were busy helping customers and that would be right with us. Fine no problem but when they sat the 2 gentleman who came in after us first, I was not too happy. It took us a long time to be sat after that, then took way too long to get the waitress to come and wait on us. I eat at a Mexican restaurant at least once a week and 99% of the time I get the Mexican shrimp cocktail. I even make it myself on a regular basis. I would say that about 90% of the time that I get it out I end up having to ask for hot sauce. However, this time it was so spicy I could barely eat it and my mouth was assaulted. I would say that I’m a firm medium to a bit more on the spice level. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said, yeah we make it pretty spicy here. I’m thinking that’s fine, but you really need to let your customers know that. The included a picture is the pile of peppers that was in my cocktail that I did not eat, and this was after consuming about a quarter of the cocktail before I started picking them out. These are not jalapeños, which is what is normally used in this dish in, my experience. To say that I never will be back is a gross...
Read moreInsane bro. Before I begin, I would like to say that our waitress was amazing and I love her. HOWEVER, I asked for tacos Al pastor in which the menu indicated was like $12. It was fine. A few minutes after ordering, our wonderful waitress comes to let me know that (according to her boss) my tacos have been up-charged to $15 because of where they get the meat ??? I’m sorry what??? Now I come from charleston, where 3 tacos usually range from $8-10 BUT $15 FOR THREE TACOS ??????? 3 small size tortilla tacos????? THAT IS $5 PER TACO. Insane. She asked if it was ok and my boyfriends mother said it was fine but I felt bad.. I asked our waitress if she could AT LEAST throw some shredded cheese on there for the moneys worth and she did which was cool of her. Love her. However, THERE WAS NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THIS MEAT EITHER. THEN my boyfriends mom (who also doesn’t like spice) ordered her some bbq wings .. that ended up coming with buffalo sauce on the inside because “they came that way” :D what? Like why not add that on the menu ALONG with all these other adjustments? Never ever coming back lol. Kudos to the waitress though,...
