I’ve been visiting Mattapoisett for my entire life and just stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, very clean, great portions, and most importantly- the BEST Thai I have found since moving north of Malden. You can feel the pride this family-owned shop takes in their food and presentation. The owner came over several times to ask us how our food was. We told him it was the best yellow curry we have EVER had. He said he needed to go tell his wife in the kitchen- we heard the whole staff clapping and cheering just moments later. We have recently moved to Marion and were so happy to discover Cilantro. It is the best kept secret. the food is prepared in a very fresh healthy way. i especially love the beef typhoon and the cashew chicken. the chicken satai is so tender and tasty. they are very conscientious and eager for the customer to have a good experience. in fact, i have never had such a good waiter. he gave advice about how spicy we should try. i have eaten in and ordered take out. can't say enough nice things about them! they have quickly become our #1 favorite restaurant...

Now Cilantros' as of early 2015 (formerly the house of Thai). The food and service have vastly improved. The fresh rolls were aptly named with crisp veggies & bright basil, the Chicken Satay was ample, tender and delicate. My husbands Tom Yum and Thai curry were quickly devoured and my vegetable Pad Thai was sweet (easily adjusted with a side of hot pepper sauce if you prefer) and flavorful with finely chopped ingredients.
