The Shack — Restaurant in Marion

I may have forgotten to post this review right after I visited the shack with my sister who lives in Marion. Great menu and service. our waitress was Brittany and everything about our experience was awesome!!! the beer was cold and the food was delicious. my sister had the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings. I had the shack cheeseburger with the fried mushrooms. I even took three sandwiches home. when I get that close to the shack from Birmingham I want that cheeseburger. please try this establishment. I don't think you'll be disappointed. thank you for the experience....

Stopped by here after trying a different local eatery earlier in the week. I was not disappointed! The food was good as was the service, and portions were more than ample. I tried the Beef Rick to be different and it was amazing in a backwoods, home style way. Service was good, nothing exceptional but adequate and attentive. The decor was nice for this type of restaurant, which are usually what I like. Nothing fancy but welcoming. Will be back next time I’m passing...

Super good! My wife and I had the pulled pork sandwiches which where piled high with tender meat! Sides were extra and I ordered coleslaw which was creamy and a wonderful add to the sandwich. My son had chicken tenders and fries which came out fresh and piping hot. The sweet tea was fresh and contained just the right amount of cane sugar. The Shack is in a 100 year old building which offers a glimpse into a simpler time. Simple, super good food.....highly...
