Planned and took a trip up to Snowshoe Ski Resort to enjoy the fall scenery. Checked out restaurants at Snowshoe and the surrounding are and found this hidden gem. We stopped at Mim's Kitchen on the way back and man was it well worth it. An outstanding family owned and run restaurant with some of the best down home cooking ever. It's a bit pricey (about $25-30 a plate, desserts are extra) but the excellent food, friendly staff, and country atmosphere makes it well worth it. Believe me when I say that Mim's roast beef tasted just like my dad's. And the country ham was just as good! Highly...
