One of the worst experiences. Waitress was extremely rude. We ordered guacamole fresh and the first time it had jalapeños in it which I have ordered this on 3 previously visit and not one time had jalapeños but thats where the horrible service started. Then she brings back a new one without jalapeños only to have the avocado so hard and unripe you could not eat it or crush it with a fork. Then my husband ordered a fajitas salad with steak ADD shimp . I ordered a side of bean with my meal that came with rice. We received our food and my husband received only shrimp in his salad and I received only bean with my no rice. When I brought this to waitress attention she said well he did not tell me what meat he wanted. EXCUSE ME he plainly said steak add shrimp amd when I said the avocado was very unrip yet your still charging me for it even tho we clearly did not touch it she was again VERY RUDE AND SAID WELL I HAD TO MAKE IT TWICE. I AM SORRY NOT MY FAULT YOU SCREWED UP . Common since says while you making it and YOU know its not ripe you dont bring that to a table. Guess will be driving into Springfield from know on for Mexican food. Even if the food was not great , if they did not have a horrible waitress would...
Read moreNot as good as we hoped for--the restaurant was really cute, but food quality not so much. It wasn't bad, but compared to other restaurants built on the same structure as far as the food, this one needs someone to come help them build up the quality of the food. The chip and dip portion is like half of what ever restaurants give, and they pour you a small bowl of Sauce that is not salsa, it's just a red sauce that does not have a good flavor. If you want more you have to ask for more. They don't bring you the little bottle that you can fill your bowl and share with others you dine with. I requested Queso, and it very small bowl that was filled only half was cost $4. Another restaurant we went to did not charge me for the same size bowl of Queso that was filled to the rim and included it as part of the meal. The same dish, Chicken Fajita cost me $17 at this restaurant for a much smaller portion and did not have the flavor to it that the other restaurant we went to did and the other restaurant cost $10.99 and gave huge portions--so much I had to take a go box home. It's a new restaurant and they have...
Read moreThe place looks closed and empty when you pass by it but it is full when you pull around! I ordered the molcajete, it was amazing! My buddy and I ordered it, food was still sizzling as they brought it out, the combination of shrimp, beef, and chicken was incredibly flavorful. The portions could have been a bit more generous, but they did bring out a side of rice and beans, which helped fill us up.
The real showstopper for me was the michelada. I haven't seen one prepared like this in a while. They served it with the tomato juice already in the glass, and then the beer bottle was set upside down in a holder clip, slowly refilling the glass as you drank. It was a cool way to keep the drink fresh.
The service was alright our server was pretty inattentive. We were ready for more drinks, but she rarely checked in with us. It seemed like she was spending a lot of time chatting and hanging out with another group, possibly friends, which meant most of her attention was diverted from other tables, including ours. This made us feel ready to leave sooner than we would...
