I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacos Don Chai, and let me tell you, it was so good that left me craving for more! This taco joint is truly deserving of its five-star reputation.
First and foremost, the flavors at Tacos Don Chai are delicious to say the least. I’m a bit picky when it comes to Mexican food. I always say, if you want delicious Mexican food just go to a Mexican mama to prepare it at home.
This is one of the few times that I can say this Mexican food was so flavorful and delicious.
We ordered the quesabirria and the red chilaquiles with birria. The tortillas from the chilaquiles were crunchy yet soft. The egg perfectly cooked and the red salsa brought it all together perfectly. I prefer my salsa super spicy and this one had just a tad bit of a kick, but still delicious, nonetheless. Their pineapple (or mango, my apologies if I’m wrong) is very flavorful and a perfect fresh balance to complement the quesabirra.
The service at Tacos Don Chai is super friendly, and attentive. The staff greets you with a smile and takes the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on your preferences. Thank you for helping me pick out a dish for my 2-year-old =)
Since the service and food was phenomenal I placed a large order the next day to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. They were so helpful in accommodating the large order I requested and the process was smooth and easy. But mind you, I called at 7:00am to make sure they had enough time to prepare the order. They absolutely went above and beyond and even brought the order to my car since I had my toddler with me. Thank you a bunch to the young guy that did that.
When my guests tried the food everyone was asking where I got the food, of course I told them. =)

Read moreMy wife tried this spot first and raved about some of the best chilaquiles around here. So we went together for breakfast. It's a small space and limited menu but you can tell they focus on perfecting their craft to make each item taste amazing over having an extensive menu full of hit or miss options.
My wife and I each had chilaquiles, hers green sauce, mine red. We also ordered a Brisket Quesabirria, torta, and quesadilla to take home for later. For everything we got the price wasn't too bad at all. They have a wide variety of hot sauces to enjoy, the pineapple one is my favorite. I also ordered one of their seasonal agua frescas, which ended up being Guyabano, a flavor which I had never tried before, and was so pleasantly surprised by that we ordered another one to go before we left. The place again is small, but there was still ample outdoor seating for us to sit and enjoy our food in peace. We noticed most people were just ordering their food to go.
This spot is a hidden gem worth checking out, and we will definitely be coming...

He spoke to me like I was communicating properly; I asked for a burrito and rice and beans on the side....he said he didn't understand .... but that was my order!
