I usually love Abi’s but this evening I went was the worse experience so far with them. Went for dinner around 7:30pm and we check the sign on the door before going in, and it said 9pm. After ordering drinks and food and when we were told by waitress that they closed at 8pm. I then asked oh I thought it was 9, she said it usually is but they weren’t busy so they were closing early. I also said if it’s a problem and we are going to be rushed we will just go. And was also told no we weren’t going to be rushed and it’s no problem at all. When our salad came out, my dressing was rotten so I said something. Our waitress never offered another salad. I called her over and said am I getting another one and she said no it’s already put up for the night. I asked could I get something in place of it. So I finally got bread pudding, but I had to ask. Not once did she offer. Then when dinner came, the food was frozen like they took it out of freezer and threw it on a plate. We said something again so they microwaved it. Also 5 minutes into eating she’s bringing boxes and our check to us. And vacuuming, mopping, and yelling all around us while trying to eat. It was to the point that we just got up and left. Called the next day and spoke with manager. That was even worse, she was rude and never took responsibility for her restaurant. She said they changed the hours to 8pm and we told her the front door said different. And she looked and said it did say 9 and couldn’t explain why it said that. It was a lot of other things that happened that evening, but these are the...

We live and die by reviews for new restaurants. Most of the time, good reviews mean good food, service, etc. This is one of those times when that's not the case. First off, our waiter was very VERY polite. The salad that came with my gyro was fresh and quite good. That's all I can say good. The eggs my hubby ordered over medium were absolutely raw. Sent them back, took almost 20 minutes for new eggs. We told the waiter, just throw those eggs back on the grill. So it won't take forever. Didn't happen. The scrapple was very odd, super hard on the outside but almost liquefied inside, and the home fries were just ok. Can't say about the toast that came with his platter because he never got it after sending back the first set because it was ice cold. When the waiter brought second set to the table, hubby asked for check. The waiter said sure, and took the toast back with him. Very odd. When we came in, I asked if the fries were regular or seasoned. He told me plain old fries with nothing on them. I ordered fries. They were seasoned fries. I hate that stuff. That's why I asked BEFORE ordering them. I asked for my gyro with light sauce. It was just dripping onto the plate, there was so much on it. Never asked about drink refills for our very empty cups. Tried 4 times to get his attention to address the issues but we felt he just ignored us unless he was passing by the table and we would almost yell to get his attention. We won't be returning. There's plenty of restaurants in the area that can get a simple egg platter, a gyro with fries and a drink...

This is typically one of my fav breakfast places. It sucks having to write them a negative review. This morning we went for breakfast. Every thing was going great at first. I went to put ketchup on my home fries and as soon as I opened it the ketchup exploded. It went everywhere, all over both of our meals, all over the booth, the floor, my face and my clothes. We had only taken a bite or two from our meals at this point. I couldn’t stay. I had to go home to shower and change. We asked for the check so we could leave. One waitress that wasn’t even ours was super apologetic and helpful. I was shocked that they only took off one of our meals. My husbands meal was covered in this substance that didn’t look like ketchup. Aside from the fact that his eggs and toast were covered in “ketchup”, we weren’t even sure it was actually just ketchup. I honestly think someone put something in the bottle as a prank. It wasn’t even the color or texture of ketchup. As much I love this place I am disappointed that if felt like they didn’t really care. So we paid 24 dollars for 2 bites of each of our meals and a...

This was our first time here. Ordered the 3 meat club. It was really good. Only draw back is no cheese or bacon. The french fries were outstanding, better then the fries from boardwalk. Our server, Riley, was outstanding as well. If your in the west OC/Berlin/ Ocean pines area it's definitely a worth while stop to grab something to eat and enjoy the small town diner feeling.

Great place. Beware of asking for gravy on your biscuit, it costs $6. Asking for gravy on my $1 upgrade biscuit nearly doubled the cost of breakfast. Its offensive. Comfy breakfast spot. Good biscuits and gravy. Really tasty breakfast sandwiches. Staff is great. Only complaint is having to listen to ads on the radio during meal. Good local spot.

The tiramisu desert was excellent and their plate "presentation" was spoton, beautiful! Another great meal and we came at 3:00 in the afternoon, when their lunch crowd was gone and we were the 1st to started their evening rush. The best thing we ever did, we were treated like there was no one else - and that was the truth.
