First off, let me just sat my experience happened about 4 months ago, but still every time I go past it irks me. That's why I'm writing this review...
My fiance and I and our 2 kids came for dinner one evening and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. When it arrived I cut in to it (a fairly large piece of chicken) I noticed it was raw in the center. I told the waitress and she brought it back to have them make me another. I told her not to, I'd just share my fiance's burger because I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes to have them make me another piece of chicken. She did apologize (I know it wasn't her fault, she didn't cook it) but when she gave us the check she said, I took the sandwich off of your bill.... Ummmm YEAH, you gave me raw chicken and I didn't get another! That is not doing me any favors. I feel like more should have been done about that. Had I been the server, I would have at least had the manager come out to apologize or taken off a drink or SOMETHING. It isn't like a fly in your soup, this was raw chicken!! I could have gotten sick had I not cut in to it and seen it. She also asked me if I wanted to keep my fries that were on the plate before bringing it back, I said no, not when there's raw chicken on the plate, lol. I just wasn't happy with how they handled the whole...
Read moreWe got carry out tonight and were more than disappointed. We’ve eaten here before (before the times of Covid) in the dining room. It was good. We liked it and we’re pretty particular about our ribs and BBQ in general. Tonight’s food was perfectly awful. The Buffalo wings were flabby, flaccid excessively sauced in a mediocre excuse for Buffalo style wings. Wings are meant to be crispy skinned; sauced with a spicy tangy vinegary glaze. These were terribly sweet (as was the dry rub on the ribs which I will address next) in a thick goopy sauce. The ribs were cooked through but not finished off on a grill or flame of any sort. Typically dry rub ribs have slightly crisped exterior. Even taking the take away packaging and getting it home still would not account for the excessive sweetness of the dry rub. We order dry rub because we can’t do much sugar. Lastly, the Bistro salad. Would have been good but there were too many cranberries, what seemed to be onions but they were limp and stringy. The dressing was good and the greens were crisp and fresh. I was so very disappointed. As consumers, we don’t go out for restaurant food often in these times of health concerns. Pick up your game. You used to be good. Your staff were...
Read moreThis is the email I’ve been trying to send to Adam’s Grill for the last 30 minutes but their server will not accept it. I decided to share my (email) review here instead.
I have LOVED your place for 25 years. Loved everything you served! Had a friend coming down from Frederick & he wanted to bring dinner from a nice place. I decided on your place. This was on Saturday 9/25/21. The main reason is we both wanted cream of crab soup - because yours is the best around. We couldn’t have this because you didn’t have crabs.
He wanted shrimp scampi and I wanted steak, cooked medium- well. His scampi was awful, no flavor and about 1/2” of butter drowning the noodles and 8 shrimp in the bottom. We almost thought it was soup. By far, the worst either of us has ever had. My steak, was very tough and very bloody. I actually had to re cook it, because only the outer 1/16th of it was cooked! My potato was undercooked and hard & the green beans were mushy.
I am only writing because i am not sure what happened and I hope things will improve there. It’s a very sad thought to think I may have lost one of my favorite places to eat.
Very disappointing, to say the least. Especially for two expensive meals.
Thanks...
