It's not a bad place. Very small. I was surprised by how big the menu is for this little diner. I'm surprised they can afford/fit that much different kinds of food. I didn't have a wait. Some people had a short wait. I was alone, so I sat at the bar. I wasn't expecting to see wings and alcohol at a place that serves breakfast and closes at 3, lol. The food wasn't bad. I was disappointed with the salad. The staff was very personable and friendly. Matt took the time to get to know every customer. Someone's awful child kept high pitch screaming, which was very disturbing. Very crowded due to the small size of the restaurant.

I love this local spot They serve breakfast all day. Super great choices from grits to whatever. The food is so very good including the dinner menu. Old fashioned liver and onions with mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone is polite. We try and go here every week not only for the food , bit that old nostalgic feeling you get sitting in there.

Great food & service! I had the crabcake sandwich & sweet potato fries. The crabcake sandwich was delicious. Not packed with fillers, but all crabcake! Really liked that they offer a mini dessert menu with small shot versions for jus $1.50. Perfect ending when you want dessert, but are pretty full already. Highly recommend & Tina was a wonderful server.

This was my first and last visit to this Restaurant. I was enjoying my morning time wt my daughter having Mimosas waiting for our food. Out of no where 15 minutes into our wait, a waitress comes up and said to my daughter let me see your ID. Your not supposed to have a drink without showing us your ID. I told the lady, no one asked for ID this is my 22yr old daughter. But out of no where to my right comes this random lady saying rudely it don't matter she needs to show ID. First of all your staff didn't ask us for ID, my daughter gave the waitress the ID, but it was just wrong the way they came at us when clearly they made the mistake and try to blame us for them not doing their job. But what got me the most irritated, disgusting and sick was to had been almost done wt my food and I see a Grilled Cockroach on my French Toast. I go so sick I ran to the bathroom to throw up what I had just ate. I had told my daughter let the waiter know what happened not to charge my card. Well when I got back to the table they fully charged my card $53.84. I was baffled and talked to the waitress, mind you I wanted to take a picture of what was on my plate which they removed it. But when I told them I'm not paying for food that had a cockroach on it and I had just gotten sick in a bucket I'm their storage room bcs the bathroom was busy. The one lady told the guy after he confirmed there was a bug on my plate, she said no you shouldn't charger her. I was so embarrassed bcs my face was red and teary eyes from getting sick, so I went to my car and I told my daughter get my card back when they credit the bill bck to my account, but come to find out they still had the nerve to charge me $41.99 and I never even got an apology..... I do not recommend this restart... I will also be reporting them to the Montgomery County Food & Health Dept. They clearly have a pest...

Wish I could say the same about this morning as I did last month. I was in no hurry, relaxed, enjoying my coffee, didn't get bothered when my order was wrong--no worries, easy fix. Then the incredibly rude woman started berating me in front of the whole restaurant. Yelling at me, "that's exactly what you ordered!" Stabbing her finger at my food and yelling out what each item was, as if I couldn't see it. So that was humiliating.

I order the same breakfast every time I visit, and it was not a big deal that it didn't come out right. Again, I was fine and wasn't bothered at all until she blew up for reasons I still can't determine. Then I tried to talk to the lady about 10 minutes later, to apologize for sounding upset, since she clearly thought I was. Couldn't get a sentence out of my mouth before she started shouting at me again.

Matt handled it well, the rest of the staff seemed embarrassed, but honestly, I drive about 45 minutes to have breakfast here, and I doubt I'll be back.

Review from a month ago still applies to all previous visits:

Really amazing breakfast, great staff, fun vibe. I had the steak with sausage gravy, eggs, biscuits. All fresh & hot, delicious, and Matt did a great job of running the counter. The biscuits are the best I have had. Anywhere. Ever. Including mom's (sssshhh...don't...

Not quite sure where all these good reviews are coming from. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like intruders trespassing. No one talked to us, no one smiled, the staff looked miserable. We had to figure out it was seat yourself, sat down and had someone come by to tell us the table was dirty and instead of wiping it down, had us move.

The coffee tasted like colored water, the waitress slammed every plate of ours down in front of us, and “some” of the food was okay at best, but most of it was not good. It tasted like canned food and frozen food from a grocery store heated up. That was our first time there...
