Definitely, DEVEN’s DELI is DELICIOUS in so many ways! Mr. Deven’s unbelievable generosity and kindness brought tears to my eyes at my 1st visit yesterday.

After facing rejection from five grocery stores when proposing to match my sandwich purchases to feed the homeless, I decided to reach out to Deven’s Deli. To my surprise, Mr. Deven immediately and cheerfully said YES. Could it be real? Could someone truly be that giving right from the start? Witnessing his genuine support was absolutely moving. His enthusiastic endorsement of my cause was so flattering, even though we had never met before.

The evidence is in the pictures. My family and I were able to distribute 50 quality, hearty ham/turkey sandwiches with cookies & chips during a 3 hour drive around Baltimore on a beautiful Sunday. Not only were the sandwiches well-packaged, but they were also prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail.

My heart was touched by the immediate appreciation and deep gratitude people expressed when receiving Deven’s Deli sandwiches…“God bless you…You’re such a blessing…THANK YOU.” My 4 daughters truly got to learn the value of GIVING. I don’t say this lightly — this place is truly a hidden gem. The moment you step in, you’re met with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you’re home. There’s an energy here that’s rare — genuine care, hospitality, and a clear passion for what they do.

They don’t just serve food or offer a service — they create an experience. Every detail is intentional, every interaction heartfelt. You can tell they take immense pride in their work, and it shows in every corner of this place. This place has been up and running for the last 30 years and they’re incredible people.

I came all the way from Houston, Texas just to try this spot — and let me tell you, it exceeded every expectation. The hype is real, and so is the heart behind it.

I ordered this on grubhub and didn't see any options for toppings and ordered it plain. I missed the box that asked for more description of what i wanted. When i got there to pick up my sandwich, the dude there said “hey we noticed you didn't request any toppings do you want us to add any?” I said it wasn't a big deal, but he assured me it was no trouble.I really appreciated that he was looking out for his customers like that. I bet you a lot of places would have just ignored those kinds of details. Got a triple decker with everything and hots.
