El Castillo Pizzeria & Tex-Mex — Restaurant in Maryland

I used to eat here a lot and tell everyone to go here to eat. But in the last year, the food quality has gone down hill to say the least. I used to love their subs, but after ordering a Ham & Cheese sub 2 weeks ago and literally only get 4 slices of ham for the whole sandwich is a bit ridiculous especially when you pay $10.00 for it. So basically when you held the sub in half, you might as well just ate bread. The taste of the food is just not the same anymore, and I won’t dine in. To many flies for me. I just ordered a steak quesadilla, and It’s very bland. Got 2 orders of Pepperoni knots, and the dough isn’t even cooked thoroughly. Unreal!!! I think it’s time to start going somewhere else. It’s a shame cause there isn’t any good places to eat near Clear Spring. Al’s in Clear Spring is WAY OVERPRICED, and the food is horrible. I’d rather go to McDonalds. So fast forward to 7/6/22 we thought we would give them another shot. Got a large steak and cheese Stromboli with mushrooms and green peppers took a few bites and I bit into something hard. I immediately spit the food back on my plate and it’s a small piece of wood or something. Definitely shouldn’t be in the food and it’s Definitely NOT edible. IM SO DONE...

We've been going here to eat for a while now and never had bad food or bad service until tonight! It was busy and when I got my food and tried to eat it and it was nasty and burnt! The onions, meat, and shrimp in my burrito was burnt and it tasted burnt as well. I brought it to the lady who was serving us's attention and she got smart with me and asked me in a disqusted voice if I wanted something else and I told her no that I wanted the same thing but just not burnt! I did receive another on and it was good. We didn't get our chips and queso until approximately 15 minutes before our meals and the queso was starting to cool! There was another waiter there trying to keep up with everyone and we had to ask him for things that she didn't serve and etc.. He kept apologizing but we knew he was overwhelmed while she did much of nothing! Then we went to leave the lady server had the nerve to come out as we were leaving and told us that we were no longer allowed to come back and if we did, we'd be up charged 18%!! She said that because we didn't tip her!! I'm not tipping for bad service! Come to find out, SHE WAS THE MANAGER!! We will gladly not come back because she is nasty and rude to customers and...

Dining Room: dingy, needs upgraded, painted etc, smells like cleaning solution, booth cusions ripped TV: Showing MMA in the dining room, wth? There were children present and it is a restaurant, completely inappropriate. Food: My entree was inedible and not at all as described on the menu. I asked for a red sauce and a bright orange sauce came out. Waitress kept repeating," Vodka", meaning they added vodka. It does not say any where on their menu they add vodka to a sauce.
