Fratelli's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Maryland

The food here is great. I've eaten at the restaurant several times and had a pleasant experience. Today I just wanted a pizza to take home, so I called and ordered a pizza.

I thought I gave them a very simple order, but no one could understand what it means to buy a large pizza with pepperoni and ricotta as extra toppings, a pizza I've gotten from them before when eating at the restaurant. They said my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes.

I arrived 20 minutes later expecting to pay and leave, but my pizza took an extra 5-10 minutes for some reason. Only to find out they got the order wrong. When I tried to explain that all I wanted was a normal large pizza with pepperoni and ricotta as extra toppings I was treated like I was trying to explain calculus.

Finally, they understood. Then I waited for another 35 minutes for them to re-cook the pizza. THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES. Who takes 35 minute to cook a pizza, much less one you KNOW is a remake for one that you messed up? All I wanted was a quick easy stop to take home and enjoy, but instead I spent basically as much time at the restaurant as I would have had I just eaten there.

And wow she was so wonderful! Note if you sit at booth in bar all those girls want to do is flirt with the drunk old men for better tips! Not this girl on may 1 she was great! She needs recognized for her kind attitude and helpful service. we sat by the booths near that big bathroom. The girl who served us 3 months ago is a former teacher and I asked her for the sauce with peppers she said it only came with meat, she lied! Really not impressed with her! But gosh that girl yesterday was so accommadative she changed my mind about this place! Unfortunately, I did learn that every Italian place in western maryland is monopolized by diatris, go figure. I will start off by saying that I had very high expectations for this place, all of which were not met in the slightest. It is very expensive. The service was tolerable, but that is to be expected because one of the servers was in training. In terms of the atmosphere, it was very very dark. The tables were fancy and the chairs were comfortable enough. Now onto the food… I have never in my life experienced such a horrid gastrointestinal event as was instilled upon me by consuming this monstrosity. I ordered the chicken and broccoli alfredo, while my boyfriend had a personal pizza. The alfredo sauce was watery, but somehow the noodles were dry. The chicken was mediocre and the broccoli was a bit hard and tasteless. The pizza tasted like flour. The sauce? Tasteless. The cheese?? Absent. The flavor??? None. Absolutely the most disappointing instance of italian cuisine in Maryland. Though, it has been good in the past. Overall, I would not see myself coming again. Unless Jesus himself awakened at...
