Had never been in the area before, but we were on our way to a particular restaurant for dinner. Then we saw Full Moon - and we were hungry - NOW.

We sat at the bar, as it is our usual preference - ordered drinks, and asked "Kelly" what they were world famous for. As she was giving us the list, a guy across the bar yelled FISH TACOS, to which Kelly said, "they're really good". My dining partner said "sold". Once our human menu continued, I stopped her at "Ruben Sandwich", and asked what dressing they use. When she said "homemade Russian dressing", my heart skipped a beat - I about fell off the stool. It's my favorite sandwich, and finding an establishment that makes a "PROPER" Ruben is extremely rare these days - they've all gone to INCORRECT 1,000 Island.

In short, my dining partner described her Fish Tacos as "DELICIOUS - (and I shouldn't have eaten them all)". If my Ruben wasn't the most delicious I've ever had, it was, BY FAR, the largest. In fact, it was BOTH - hand's down. THIS Ruben should be patented.

The bar area wasn't crowded, but we quickly felt like we were in CHEERS. No one knew our names, but we were soon engaged in friendly conversation with everyone else there - as if we were regulars.

We have since driven as much as 50 miles out of our way for a return visit - and we surely will again in the future. Yeah -...

My wife and I came in for dessert late Saturday afternoon, but ended up having chips with spinach/artichoke dip, and drinks instead. I had one of their special craft beers, and my wife had a frozen fruity drink.

Although the beer, drink, and chip dish was good, it was a little pricey for what we got. The dip was good, but not exceptional and the chips seemed like they were bagged chips, not freshly made by the pub. Thus, the price they charged seemed a little high for what we got.

The bar advertised a special priced draft beer for Saturdays (right on the table), but when I went to order it I was told the special price did not kick in until evening time. That put a damper on my experience.

My wife's drink was good, so not all was bad.

If the Saturday special was honored, my wife and I would have probably stayed a while, and have a few refills of our drinks, and ended the afternoon with the dessert we originally came in to get.

So it goes.

I am the type of person that does not like to get screwed (who is?), and that is how I felt at the Full Moon. I did not make an issue about them not honoring their advertised pricing, but I certainly won't return in the future. There are many choices in the area to get a drink and food, and for me, the Full Moon is not one of...

arrived on our motorcycles Sunday afternoon and were greeted by the new Chef that happened to be standing at the kitchen exit. He was excited to be at Full Moon and told us what had changed there with new ownership.

Upon entering we were greeted by the new GM who escorted us to our table and told us about the change in ownership and upcoming plans.

Bartender introduced herself and took our food/beverage order. Burger/fries, Hot open face roast beef sandwich with gravy fries where hot, tasty. Menu is typical American Grill.

Service was great, staff was friendly and attentive while we hung out a couple hours watching football.

Unfortunately with the pandemic we haven’t been out much in the past 18 months. We were comfortable here having been vaccinated and they were following Covid protocol.

We wish the new owners and management great success. Full Moon has always had a good vibe and food. Will be putting it back in rotation as a go...

Last minute decisions to head out for dinner on Valentines Day doesn't always work out so well. However, owner (and host) of Full Moon was very accommodating for our party of 7 (that ended with 9, lol). He was easy to talk to, offered suggestions from the menu and checked on us a few times. We were a large and a bit loud for Vday, but we never felt rushed or unwelcome. Full Moon is not 5-star fine dining but 5-star comfort dining serving great comfort foods. No fancy furniture or decor but has what I'm looking for in a meal; healthy portions, full flavor and sensible prices. Whether drinks with a friend or two or family dinner, give it your time and see for yourself.

Short answer: avoid the full moon. This place has the vibe of having had its time, and is now running as a shell of its former self. Perfect location squandered with awful food and mid service. The service people (minus the hostess(?) Who’s has no shame obviously) has the look of shame, like they know how much it sucks, but can sadly do nothing about it. Food came out, literally still frozen raw fish and chips, peel and eat shrimp was undercooked to the point of worry, and tiny shrimp. Such a let down, lived here for years now and we’re excited to try the coolest looking place in town, however avoid it at all costs unless you want food poisoning.

I visited Full Moon with some friends for dinner on a Friday night. We chose to sit on the dining side so we could have a chill space. We ordered some loaded fries and the mozzarella bites for an app. Both were delicious. We then ordered our dinner and got various items, all which were great. Our server was super friendly and attentive as well. The only reason I gave them less than 5 stars is because the space is pretty out of date. It could benefit from some fresh paint and new light fixtures!
