The Glen Bernie Seafood Market is well worth the drive. From the second I walked into the market it was easy to tell I had chosen the right place. From the smell of the crabs and shrimp cooking in the back to the friendly attitude of the people working there. I felt like they were actually happy to see me. The crabs were awesome. When cracked open they were so packed full of meat that the crab meat actually fell out in my hand. Every crab was perfectly cooked and spiced with Old Bay. The shrimp was tender and not over cooked. Stopped in here last evening and got a pound of large shrimp and a dozen crabs (#1s). They were delicious and I was very impressed with the young men running the show. The gentleman I spoke with was well educated in seafood and knew the source of ever product he had for sale. They had this tempting crabmeat in the case, along with fresh oysters, fresh fish and other delicacies. I highly recommend you stop by and pick up something delicious for your own family. Ok!? Coming from a butcher background, I will say this. I love my meat, but I love my seafood more! A perfect smoke is hard to come by on store bought! This place leveled me up to another. Perfect fillet, perfect weight and unbelievable freshness. Best smoked salmon I've ever cooked! If you want fresh salmon come to this place! We placed an order and had it the next day within 24hrs.
