Came in at 2pm on a Saturday and we were the only customers. We were informed that the kitchen was closed, which was disappointing, but we decided to stay and purchase drinks and pastries anyways. The shop itself is pretty with a nice atmosphere, but the absolute silence without any music was a little unnerving. Our server brought us our drinks and immediately left without asking if we wanted anything else and without even ringing us out at the register- we had to call her back to remind her that we hadn't paid yet and still wanted to add to our order. And for $20, we ended up with two mediocre specialty coffees- one being bland and the other cloyingly sweet-- and some pastries that were literal garbage. Both the rice krispy treats and the muffin we had ordered were rock hard and entirely inedible. If we hadn't already taken them home I would have asked for a refund. We're hoping to try again at another time earlier in the day when we can try the full menu and perhaps have fresher baked goods, but we were truly disappointed with this...

We went to Grounded coffee co for the first time the other day while we were on vacation. The entire experience wasn’t great. The staff were not very friendly and seemed annoyed by any questions. We could tell they messed up our order and didn’t want to be bothered. They begrudgingly remade one of the three drinks we ordered. We had a bit of a complicated order, which I understand can be frustrating sometimes, however, we are paying customers. We ordered three lattes that were the same drink but different milks and sweetness levels. Once we received them they couldn’t even tell us which one was which.
