Savoring Simplicity and Bold Flavors I recently experienced a delightful evening at Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe, where the enticing aroma of brick oven pizza captivated my senses. The smoky flavor was a delicious testament to the authenticity of their preparation. What sets this place apart is its self-help approach, eliminating the need for waitstaff. The freedom to choose and settle into a table at your leisure enhances the laid-back atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for families. The self-service concept extends to all aspects, from plates to to-go containers and even essentials like forks. Embracing this forward-thinking approach adds to the charm, providing a more intimate family vibe that resonates throughout. While the option to customize your pizza is tempting, I discovered that limiting toppings to two items ensures a better balance. My personal favorite included bacon, spinach, onions, mushrooms, and peppers—a winning combination of flavors that left a lasting impression. However, if I were to suggest a must-try combination, it would undoubtedly be the bacon and spinach. The simplicity of these toppings allows the brick oven's craftsmanship to shine, creating a pizza that is both memorable and satisfying. It's worth noting that indulging in multiple toppings may increase the cost, so keeping it to a pair strikes the perfect balance between taste and value. Whether you're a pizza purist or a topping enthusiast, Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe promises a culinary journey filled with smoky goodness and a warm, family-friendly ambiance.

Just moved into the area, came here three times already this month. Atmosphere is a fun vibe, if you want a quiet dining experience, it’s not like you can’t get that, but pizza attracts kids and families so (keep that in mind) Met the Owner and just recently the daughter. Very nice people and I appreciate a good family restaurant, that sticks to their recipe and principles. Everything they make take a few minutes, but do know the wait is worth it. So the pizza: (speaking as if I was Dave Portnoy from Barstool) Undercarriage has a nice char which leads to no flop. Thin enough to be considered bar pizza or a perfect thin crust pizza. Crust also has a nice char and the air pocket bubbles are just as good. Bite into one to release the hot goodness and then follow up with a perfect crust and cheese combo. It’s heaven. The red sauce is not sweet nor does it give you heartburn. The pepperoni is great, not so salty Nor does it bow upward and keep grease in. My personal score since I took the pie home is 8.7 which is fair for being a take home pie. In house solid 9. **let me be clear on my price stated below** I am sure it would be cheaper but they have a great selection of sodas Dr.Browns to the better flavored sparkling water. They have beer and wine and a good selection at that, I just don’t get down. Great place. A must go.

Hands down, the best pizza around. Not only are these brick oven pizzas absolutely delicious with crispy crusts, delicious sauce, and rich stretchy cheese, but unlike fast food pizza you can eat quite a lot and not feel that junk food sick feeling. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of the oven, the alluring aroma of spices and baked crusts and charming music. Furthermore, I overheard a conversation of an employee to a customer about how much he loves his mother's recipe here. This is a family owned restaurant and the heart of it is shown in the food. Furthermore the cannoli's are just great as well. Not overbearlingly sweet like so many other cannoli's I've had, you could eat a whole box of them. If anyone is giving this place less than 5 stars, don't listen to them because obviously they don't have taste. Trust me on this.

We used to enjoy an evening out at Laurienzo's before Covid struck. The servers were fantastic, the pasta and pizza was amazing. The two times we ate at this restaurant was this past summer and fall. Besides the difference in service, the food and menu options were a big disappointment. I understand that due to covid there has to be some changes made for the protection of the staff and customers, but the quality of the food is no where near the same as it was. The final straw was when the pizza crust tasted like it was pre-made, was dripping in sauce, ,and the salad was wilted and missing much of the main elements. The spaghetti and meatballs our daughter ordered tasted ,in her words "gross" . Needless to say, we didn't bring our leftovers home. The prices however are the same as they were pre-covid. They should at least price the menu...
