Lyon Bakery — Restaurant in Maryland

Delivered flour to your old bakery. Bulk tanker truck. When I thought the D.C. Police showed up at the end of the block for my protection I gradually learned it was for a traffic stop to keep a gov't prossession moving !! Then you built a state of the art new facility a few miles outside of the historic and crazy zone. Not only were the delivery drivers and your staff not messing around with 80 feet of hose connections; you laid a new concrete pad to make bulk deliveries easier within a few months !! If that wasn't enough to hit the all time list of things that don't happen in today's world of commerce; your family always sent a selection of your products home with the drivers to share with our terminal !! Everyone tried to be polite but, we were always jostling for our favorites !! Now, I reason for this message. I retired. I forgot to tell you in big, bold print;....

Good value for their loaves. So far I've tried the whole wheat and rustic baguettes, as well as the raisin walnut bread. You need to eat them fast though, as they go stale quickly. It's hard to find good bakeries in DC so it's nice to have Lyon Bakery so close by at Union Market. Looking forward to trying other varieties such as their Challah and...
