Margherita Pizza Of Kingsville — Restaurant in Maryland

Hubby and I finally got the chance to check this place out yesterday and we're kicking ourselves that we haven't been sooner. We stopped in around 1:30 to grab some subs to go and I was greeted by the nicest young man at the register. The menu is huge but I had my heart set on a pizza steak sub and hubby wanted an Italian coldcut and I also got a drink and some chips. I love that they pack the subs in styrofoam containers but with as large as they were, overflowing with meats and toppings I imagine they have to do that and I also liked that the bags for the to go orders had handles - it's the little things that I notice and truly appreciate so bonus points for that Margherita. I consider myself to be a Pizza Steak aficionado and theirs was the best I have ever had, the steak was seasoned perfectly and the fresh tomato sauce and gooey cheese were so yummy. Hubby loved his coldcut as well, he usually saves half for lunch the next day but said it was so good he couldn't help but finish it. I saved half of my sub for today's lunch and it was just as good as when I ate if freshly made. We will definitely be back to try their pasta...

We went to dine in. The small number of small tables were crammed into the restaurant. We were the only dine-in party. Several tables were being used as staging platforms for the frantic delivery people--who were very busy The kitchen seems to prioritize take-out orders. As dine-in, we were out of luck & waited a long time. I only got my soup because my daughter went up to the counter to find it. It was barely before the pasta. All the food was poorly seasoned & tasteless, except for the heavy salt. The Bolognese had no Italian seasonings & tasted of nothing. The meat had been cooked in too much oil. It was sodden. The subs all looked good, but were poor in flavor. The ingredients used here were far from fresh. Other Margheritas are excellent & serve fresh ingredients, freshly cooked following quality Italian recipes. Dining in at the Kingsville Margherita's...

Oh my goodness, that is what comes to mind when I think about Margheritas pizza. Everyone was friendly. The service was wonderful. The pizza We bought the spaghetti pizza if you have never had it, it is a must it is great fresh and it is even better after you take it home and heat it in the oven the next day. This is one pizzeria that I will put on my top three, with it being number one. I have been there once but I will be back again and again. I want to thank the owners for everything.
