So I went to McDonald's today August 14th at about 8 p.m. gave the drive-thru my order it was slightly big but not Harley big I ordered 3 Happy meals and three value meals 1 double cheeseburger one McChicken receive my food with my value meals I asked for two sweet teas and one Coke got the drinks they did not ring up one of the value meal but I still received a drink for it so I had to go back inside in order the the value meal they did not add they also forgot to put my children's drinks with the meal they even asked me for my receiptand when they do this that's because they erased your orderso their drive-thru time looks better I know this because I used to work at Burger King and they did it there but apparently this Crews not smart enough to do thatevery time I go there they asked for my receipt in the drive through the only reason I continue to go there that's because it's the one right next to my house less than a mile away and my kids enjoy needless to say I will not be going there no more it is ran by a bunch of incompetent people I've been on hold to talk to their manager for the past 20 minutes I called your number while I was on hold with my cell phone and found a busy signal which means they're on the other line talking to somebody else for 20 minutesit is quite often that they forget something out of my meal that I paid for and I get home and I find it becoming accustomed to checking every time I deal with this place it takes a lot for me to get angry enough to make a bad review because I know it can be damaging but I've had enough after 22 minutes of being on hold I hung up this is ridiculous and this McDonald's really needs to get the location of it it's 810 Reece road Severn the night manager should probably be fired and so should the whole crew because apparently they don't give very good service ever not a good sign to go to a drive-through and be ask for your receipt Everytime you go I can't remember a time when they didn't ask me for my receiptso for them to get their drive-thru numbers to look good they have to go through a lot of trouble I'm sure there are other numbers probably don't look that good eitherand the only reason they got one star was because I couldn't comment unless I gave them one star how stupid is that they deserve negative 10 Starsin the past I've gotten home and I've had Happy meals without toys Happy meals without the meal how happy is that that makes him very disappointed the next thing I guess they didn't like us and I have to tell them no that's just the incompetents of the people that they hired how dumb can you be for real when you literally mess up an order inn on the register there's pictures of what people are ordering at that point it's incompetency it's people who don't care what's the point of even workingI hope one of them reads this and realizes they should just quit their job because they are that stupid that they probably qualify for unemployment for being an idiotthank you and dear McDonald's if you want to get back to me on this feel free I believe that my email is attached to this so please do get back to me I would love to talk to you guysit's a little ridiculous every time that I go through the drive-thru when I get to the place where they're supposed to give me my food they asked me for my receiptI know why and you guys should know why too because they're trying to make their numbers look better at the drive-thru but even when they ask me for my receipt they still get my order I guess they don't know how to read 😂and the manager there probably can't manage his way out of a wet paper bag with a box cutter your store is shitI will not be coming back you have lost me as a customer and that's sad because I have six members of my family when I go there it's usually between a 40 and $60 purchase very...
Read moreI hate to review a place horribly twice but sometimes the stores manage to be specifically awful in multiple ways from multiple perspectives.
Imma sum up the first now-deleted review before I go into why this review was poor: I tried to order curbside and staff did a very poor job in verifying as to whether the order existed or not. Different staff to who was on hand tonight.
Now to this bad review.
Generally, this store is okay when it comes to DD stuff. Okay, but not unacceptably bad. Except tonight. (December 10, 2022, ~9:35-9:55 PM. These times will be relevant later.)
Now, from the perspective of a DD driver, order time is effectively money for us. Lengthy order prep times easily ruin the effective hourly rate of what would be otherwise be a half-decent order pay wise. There are cases where upon arrival, it's understandable for the staffing if an order takes a bit. Filled drive-thrus and the like. Wasn't really the case tonight. Just staff screwing about significantly and not really working through orders. Should've seen it coming before starting my run there, I saw a number of people bringing up other missing items.
So, when DD provides an order which under reasonable conditions would take under ten minutes to fulfill from start to finish assuming the staff were on point, slightly under five dollars in total is reasonable once you start accounting for inactive times.
I was at the store for over twenty minutes. I left the store and unassigned myself from the run five minutes after the customer was due to receive the order. I would've needed the order to be in my hand seven to ten minutes before I left. I truly hope that the person who placed the order got their food in the end but finds the service as unacceptable as I did here. Because on an operational level it really was just unacceptable.
While I was there, I ended up talking with another driver who even had less favorable things to say about the store and picking up food from here as a driver, but tonight, they were exceptionally bad to the point where it drove me to another review. Especially since for this time and day of the week, I've not had nearly this bad of an experience, and this store has performed better in busier...
Read moreThis is by far the worst McDonald's we've ever been to...which is saying a lot because we've been to many McDonald's throughout the country and had some awful experiences. But this one takes the cake as the worst based on two separate experiences.
My wife put in a mobile order at the end of running errands with the kids....so they were hungry. She parked in a mobile pick-up spot & marked which one in the app. After about 20 minutes, our two yr old started crying in hunger & exhaustion. My sweet wife who avoids confrontation goes inside to see what's up. Turns out the order was ignored and she watched the employees yell at each other about how so & so didn't do their job, ect. My wife got the impression that no one really cared so much that she was waiting with hungry kids for 20 minutes but that they simply hated each other & already had a bone to pick & was using this mistake as ammo. She also said there were other customers that were upset and complaining as if they couldn't handle the daily lunch rush.
I pull in at 11pm with just one car ordering in front of me and maybe one other car already ordered and paid in front of them. Using the time I got home, the time the drive takes and a text I received just before I got there, I estimate I waited 25 minutes before I left in frustration. Since I had already paid, I called them to let them know I left and told them they needed to void my transaction. The woman said I needed to come in to the store with my card toto proce the refund. I used to work retail and while it wasn't food service, I have a hard time believing that they're using a point of sale (POS) system that doesn't allow them to void a recent transaction using the order number and last 4 digits of the card.
Needless to say, we will not be returning despite it being along our regular...
