Make sure to check your bag before you leave. I ordered takeout for my family. I added an extra rice order. When I received my meal, I saw that the extra rice wasn’t there. I immediately turned back around and the individual that gave me my food was standing right there as if they knew I was coming back. He stated that because I ordered a family meal which came with 2 sides… the extra rice wasn’t added and I didn’t pay for it. My recipe clearly showed both. If I had not noticed it, they would not have said anything to me. If it’s such that the app cannot manage to add extras when you get a family meal that should firstly be fixed. If it isn’t, or pending an app fix the employees should advise the customer…or just put the rice In there since you saw I ordered it. He even advised me that it wasn’t the first time. So why keep the customer on the dark about something they ordered that your app can’t accommodate. It’s a local new business, which I’d love to support, that left me feeling uneasy though. I even...
Read moreMi Sabor Peruano is a gem! The dining room is spacious and lovely, with lots of natural light and colorful woven tablecloths. It made us happy just to walk in there. The food is excellent, and includes a number of choices for gluten-friendly (also great for everyone) dining, which was important to one of us. Ki we had the Causa appetizer, the Churrasco de Pollo with yellow rice and black beans (all gluten friendly), and the Arroz con Pollo (probably gluten friendly), and for dessert the Mazamorra Morada and the Lucuma Ice Cream (both delicious and gluten friendly). The menu has a lot of casual dishes, too: Subs, Burritos, Cheesesteak sandwich, Quesadillas, Gyro, Papa Rellena, and for the kids, Chicken Tenders or Salchipapas (hot dog served over French fries). There is something to enjoy...
Read moreThe toasted corn was addictively delightful. The Tallarin Saltado was too salty and just wasnt really that good, but everything else was really good, especially the fish ceviche. The contrast between the sweetness of the sweet potato in it and the salty and sour flavors of the ceviche was really good. The lamb chops were pretty good, and the plantain with it was good too. The Chaufa rice I got with it was alright, but to me it was just too salty. The desserts however were amazing. The Alfajores were nice, a super crumbly corn starch based cookie that just melts in your mouth, and the Lucuma Ice Cream was really good, with a similar flavor to butterscotch. Overall, I had a good experience at Mi Sabor Peruano and I would certainly...
