I love supporting local businesses, but what I love even more are local businesses that support other local establishments. I took a day trip to Betterton Beach over the Labor Day weekend, and, proximity wise, Molly's was the obvious choice for a nearby dinner. Looking at the menu, I was impressed to find a number of locally-sourced food items, ranging from salad greens grown at Red Acres Farms (Worton, MD) to beef and bacon sourced just down the road from McHenry's Beef and Langenfelder Pork, respectively. As a big seafood fan, I was also pleased to find Orchard Point oysters (Stevensville, MD) on the menu in a number of dishes. Our waitress pointed me toward the oyster platter entrée (six fried oysters + fries and coleslaw), and it turned out to be the perfect recommendation. Not only were the oysters huge, but they were also perfectly fried: Not too greasy, not too salty, incredibly flavorful, and cooked just right to achieve a crunchy exterior while maintaining the interior freshness of a "just off the boat" oyster. Absolutely sublime. Not only that, but I was also able to swap out entrée sides for free (onion rings for fries!) and the portion size was truly generous. The service and atmosphere were also perfect. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, and the outdoor seating was screen-enclosed, helping keep out the bugs. I also saw outdoor eating pods on the sidewalk, which was really cool to see in our COVID world. Needless to say, I look forward to dining again at Molly's the next time I'm in the area!

Was looking forward to eating here since it had a lot of good reviews . Drove 1 hour to come try it . I ordered a chicken cheestake. After waiting 45 minutes for my food I was appalled at the pile of dry garbage that was placed in front of me by the waitress. It tasted no better than it looked . It came barely lukewarm warm with not a single ounce of flavor . The fries were cold and oily , the bread was stale trying to be masked with toasting it . I can’t even comment on the chicken because that was not chicken on my plate . I’m still trying to figure what that was . There was no love in that food . I wanted to enjoy this place I really did but it was awful . Probably the worst meal I’ve ever had In my life . Hope this helps

It took 50 minutes for eggs and toast when the place was half empty. We sat here with just water the whole time. They never checked on us. They finally brought the food and it was all cold, and they gave me the wrong toast. The omelette clearly had Kraft singles In it. One bite of cold sausage, two bites of eggs and I was done. Food wasn’t good. Then the just handed us a bill. Did t ask if we were done, didnt ask how the food was. It’s a cool looking place though. Also cold in there. The store is cool. The food and service is lacking.

Used to be on of our favorites, but not any more. After taking a multi year break because of the new style of cooking we decided to go back and eat this weekend . First we went into the sports store and walked around, interesting nobody ever approached us to see if we were interested in anything, or even greeted us. Ok off to eat. Hostess sat us at 4pm. We where given lunch and dinner menus because she wasn't sure what they were serving. Ordered a cheesesteak sandwich chili and bbq Mac and cheese. While waiting we where looking around and noticed how dirty the wall where with food and also noticed several booths with scraps left on top. Kinda reminded me like a bad truck stop. Food came, chili was luke warm at best and my cheesesteak was so oversalted along with the fries. Thank God for refills. Wife's Mac and cheese was greasy and oily. What a far cry from the Molly's of yesteryear! Maybe less money on radio adds and more attention to the kitchen and cleaning! Big...

Two breakfast gripe items: Their coffee tastes exactly like instant Nescafe. When they bring your first cup out the brown bubbles are still swirling in the cup meaning they just finished stirring the instant coffee into the hot water. They never bring out a Bunn coffee pot to refill your cup either. They take your cup into the kitchen and come back with another swirling bubbles cup of instant coffee. They aren't fooling me. They HAD some real good ham at one time, the kind that you cut off a bone-in ham. Now they have switched to the same kind like you can buy in the grocery store, the processed, formed, and shaped ham with a lot of gristle and hard pieces in it. You get one thin slice, and you would be lucky to eat 1/2 to 2/3 of it. The place is slowly turning into one of those restaurants you...
