I expected a full service seafood market but the location was a small kind of outdoor almost trailer kind of thing. They were offering crabs, fish, shrimp and a little more. Prices were on average with other seafood joints in the area. They also get Louisiana crawfish when they are in season, which is what actually brought me there. However, there are foul odors when you get near the entrance and when you go in. My daughter refused to go in because of the odors. One gentleman, I'm assuming was the owner, was kind and friendly. The younger guy, not so much. And then, someone came to visit them and he gave me the best tip on how to cook snow crab legs. For the 1st time in like for ever since I been coming here I was unsatisfied with the sizing of the crabs. So, they no longer give you crabs by the size meaning if you go there specifically looking for jumbos you will not get it because they mix all their crabs together. You may get smalls, mediums, or larges. None of my crabs were large and I didn't get not one jumbo crab which is the size I went there for. So, my husband ended up still getting me a dozen for a bag of mixed size crabs for $70. They were so small I went to my backup crab spot to purchase the size I really wanted, jumbo. We came on Sunday afternoon last week to grab some oysters for dinner. They had Delaware bay and we took 3 dozens. Honestly, I never had that bad experience with any other seafood markets, from that 3 dozens we cracked about 2 and 6 oysters were spoiled, some of them were so badly spoiled that they smelled to the whole kitchen, it seemed that they were spoiled for a very long time already. We needed to bring garbage outside cause the smell was just awful. Also I didn’t like the sizing, all oysters were like very different from very small to really big one as if they are just buying unsorted and do not watch the freshness of their seafood.
