This place is one of the worst I have ever been. The other Ram's Heads are not too bad, but this one will never get my business again. I'd like to see if this place would survive if it wasn't tucked back in Point Pleasant. Most of those folks won't leave the neighborhood to go anywhere else and I think that's why this place thrives. I used to go to Reckless Ric's all the time and it was great. During the changeover, it was still a nice place to go and have beer and food. After it was totally Ram's Head, I was done. I gave it 4 attempts and each attempt was worse than the next. Like other reviews, plan on waiting for a beer. I don't care if you are the only person there, the staff will find something else more important to do before waiting on you. Each time I went, I sat at the bar, usually with less than 10 other people sitting there and I get told that they will be with me in a minute as they continue their conversations with other guests. And that's with 2 bartenders working. Then they come with an attitude like I should be privileged to be there and I order a beer. Each time I finish, my glass sits empty. A few weeks ago I phoned in a food order(the food is decent, but Ric's blew them away). I went to pick it up and it took 5 minutes for one of the 3 bartenders to greet me. The first one came over, asked if she could help and I told her I was picking up an order. She walked away, looked at the food that was already set up for carry out and then went into the kitchen. I guess mine wasn't ready, but she never came back. Then another girl came over and asked if she could help me and I repeated I was there to pick up a food order. She turned away from me and took 2 steps toward the kitchen and then stopped and took a step back. Apparently, she knew someone sitting at the bar and preceded to talk to that person. Completely blown off by that bar tender. Since this was my 4th visit, I figured just keep my mouth shut and never come back. The management was never helpful the first 3 times. It's almost like there is an arrogance about the place like guests should feel lucky they are there. Do yourself a favor and go next door and talk to Brian at Duke's. They don't serve food, but they let you order from wherever you want and have it delivered. Now I sit and enjoy myself at Duke's and they are friendly and act as though they are happy to provide a service to people who want...

I've been going to this place every month for the past 2 years with friends for the monthly beer release. Went there tonight and was extremely disappointed in the service. Our server Kalia was clearly not cut out for this job. After taking our drink orders we waited about 10 minutes for them. Not too bad. When she returned she delivered the drinks but turned to leave without asking if we wanted to order food. The restaurant was not busy at this point. We had to stop here and ask her to take our food order. She did not return to our table until she brought the food. After she delivered the food she did not return for 30 min and was nowhere to be found. When she finally returned a few of our group asked her for another beverage. The beverages didn't come. We saw her once at a table near us but as we called out to her she walked away without looking at our table. Had to wait 20 minutes to ask again for another round. She delivered all but one drink 10 minutes later. 2 of our friends had to leave and as they were asking for their check she walked away. She didn't return for 45 minutes. The other drink still hadn't arrived. We asked for that and for our checks. She dropped the drink off but walked away again as we asked our checks. Another 20 minutes before she came back. No check. We told her again we needed our checks ASAP. She came back with them. She would not take our payments at that time and said she'd be back. Another 15 minutes pass before she returns to take payment. She chines back 5 minutes later and 2 of 4 checks were wrong. One was shorted $10 in change . Our bill was not correct and my husband made her stay and correct it so we would not be stuck for 20-45 minutes. While the food and beverage are good it is not worth the excruciatingly slow service to dine here. After 2 years we are seriously considering not...

Supremely disappointed. Tonight was our second outing to Rams Head. We enjoyed the first outing a lot. The service was slow, but we chalked it up to a fluke and the food was amazing. Tonight I brought my parents to show off the place and was embarrassed. Hands down the worst service experience I've ever had. I've decided the easiest way to tackle this is via numbered list:

We sat down and ordered drinks and crab dip . The drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive. We weren't even given water while we waited. No server came to take our order during this time.

Once we finally were allowed to order, we also asked for some extra bread for the crab dip because were ravenous at this point. It showed up 25 minutes later once the dip was all spooned away.

We never received the salads that came with our orders. Never.

When we received our meals, we discovered the following: two of us ordered chips, they got fries. Two ordered medium burgers, got cold hockey pucks. I ordered a whole lobster, but was not given a shellfish cracker, even after asking. My wife ordered a bacon burger. Bacon in the name. No bacon.

We asked for water four times. Had to go to the bar to get some ourselves.

The staff seemed apathetic to the obvious lack of basic customer service. Never received an apology (did receive a pitch for the customer loyalty card).

They charged us for the freaking extra bread we asked for at the hour mark without hope of food.

I want to love this place. I really do. The food is good, the atmosphere is amazing. But the service... The place was half full with staff running everywhere. Once is a fluke, but to follow it up with this... there...

It was a beautiful day, and we wanted to soak up every moment of sunshine. So naturally, we made our way over to Rams Head Dockside in Glen Burnie, Maryland, where good vibes, strong drinks, and waterfront views come together. This is a laid-back, casual waterfront spot that's perfect for relaxing with friends. We grabbed a table right by the water and immediately felt like we were on a mini getaway. The breeze, the boats, and the music set the tone for a fun afternoon. We kept it light and went with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the Honey Old Bay Wings, which were crispy, sweet, and seasoned with that signature Chesapeake Bay flavor. Honestly, the food here is okay. It's not amazing, but it's solid for casual dining. That said, we’ve had their burgers before, and those are definitely a standout on the menu! If you’re visiting, we recommend giving one a try. Now let’s talk drinks. I had a Rum Runner Bucket, and let’s just say that it’s definitely the star of the show. It was strong, fruity, and perfect for day drinking by the dock. What really made the experience memorable was the live music. Pair that with the friendly service and a pretty extensive menu, and you've got a spot that’s perfect for chill weekend vibes. Our final verdict is Rams Head Dockside, which is all about the atmosphere. If you're looking for gourmet bites, this might not be the place. But if you want good drinks, great company, and a gorgeous view, this is where you want to be. Bonus points for live music and an upbeat crowd. We’d come back just for the vibe alone. This is one of our favorite local spots! Outdoor seating, where you can nestle your feet in the sand and feel like you are on a beach. Fantastic views of the water at sunset. On the hotter days, it still feels cool because they have fans running and shade over the tables. They often have live music as well. Yesterday we were lucky enough to hear Catching Autumn, they played some great eclectic mix of covers. On Wednesdays, you can also get a kid meal free with a purchase of dinner entree, so if you don’t feel like cooking, it’s a win-win, the kids get to play in sand and get fed! I’ve started a keto diet so at most restaurants I have to choose certain foods or make adjustments to what I am eating, this time around I had their ahi tuna appetizer (rare) and tavern wedge salad with chicken, both were great. I think the wedge salad was well-balanced and flavorful and visually beautiful. When I wasn’t doing keto, they had a fantastic chicken sandwich on the menu that had a bourbon or whiskey glaze I wanna say (?) and they currently have these Bavarian pretzels that are a fantastic salty warm bit that come with 2 dipping sauces. Great, attentive service!
