Randy's Ribs & BBQ catered a family reunion for us in Montgomery County, MD on September 28, 2024. They were outstanding in every way! Randy's hosted a reunion for us six years ago and again did not disappoint. Randy was very responsive and accommodating as we planned the menu and details several months in advance. All of the food was delicious and reasonably priced-pulled pork, buns, BBQ chicken pieces, several homemade sides (baked beans, cole slaw, green beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, salad), with homemade BBQ sauces and salad dressings. (The ranch and blue cheese salad dressings made by Randy's Mother were fantastic!) Randy also added veggie burgers and a special meal for a guest with dietary restrictions; no problem or extra charge. Delivery by Randy's son was punctual and set-up was a breeze. We had a beautiful spread, and the portions were extremely generous. Randy provided us with everything that we could possibly need, including extra serving pieces in case one broke and cups because we forgot to buy them. Thank you, Randy! Kudos and five-stars in every category!

Stopped to pick up food here after hearing about this place for over a year. Purchased sauces from them a a craft fair and liked the sauces. Ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, pound of pulled chicken, pound of pulled pork and pound of NC pulled pork. Listed prices on their menu were one price and then what I was charged was $3 more for each item. Received 10 ribs for a full rack. Ribs looked good but they were dry and tough. Picture of the ribs are the couple that looked the best. For over $40 expected them to be fall off the bone. Pulled chicken was ok but nothing to rave about. Pulled pork was dry. This is a carry out only no seating. For the cost and quality of food it’s not worth us driving to get here again. Definitely disappointed and should have read recent reviews before going. Some said they got large portions but we got small portions. Not worth the $127 we paid. Pictures of the pulled meat was spread out to fill the container.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)

I’ve given Randy’s Ribs more than one chance, but after two very disappointing visits spread over two years, I won’t be returning. The first time I visited, they forgot the coleslaw with my order. When I called, I was told to bring the food back — which I did two days later due to my schedule. The food was just okay, not great, and definitely not worth the hassle.

Fast forward to now: I stopped by again simply because I didn’t feel like cooking. I ordered a North Carolina pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, and a side of collard greens. When I got home, not only was the coleslaw missing from the sandwich again, but the greens were terrible — bland, as if they had just been steamed in water with zero seasoning. The pork was dry and underwhelming, and their "North Carolina" style barbecue sauce was just vinegar with no depth or flavor. My family is from NC, and this isn't even close.

I called the shop, and the man who answered refused to identify himself or confirm whether he was the manager. Instead of listening to my concerns, he got defensive and accused me of "talking down" to him. I explained that missing items and poor quality food meant wasting my time — something he seemed to have no empathy for. He repeatedly asked, “Well, what do you want me to do?” as though it wasn’t obvious the order should be corrected or refunded.

Two days later, I returned with the food. The staff claimed no one from the previous night was there. One particularly rude young man with a nose ring told me I must be “miserable” and slammed the window in my face. After initially trying to give me a partial refund, they only refunded the full amount after I insisted and showed the uneaten food.

All in all, this was a terrible experience. The customer service was disrespectful and confrontational, and the food quality simply doesn’t match the hype. I gave them a second chance and regretted it. I...

I just left there about 15 minutes ago. I ordered two of the half tea half lemonade, which I absolutely love hands-down I decided to order some collard greens for the first time wasn’t given any napkins in my bag. I opened the small container. Take my fork to get some greens out in an entire Leaf a whole collard green leaf. Is what I pulled up that is unacceptable. The greens are not even cut up a little bit if you are going to Advertise and sell collard greens why would you one not have them cut up at all and have yellow greens? Two there is no flavor to them. You can tell there’s yellow leaves that was cooked It’s just not what I expected and I definitely would not order their collard greens again. I Pass their Monday through Friday to and from work and decided to stop because I see that there’s aLeah’s a lot of people out there .even though I was not happy or am not happy with the collard greens. I will try something else on the menu. I hope have a better experience as I will not be eating theses greens. If I am able to post a picture, I will sincerely unsatisfied Customer . Update: so I was able to post 1 of the pictures if you go under the photos of me holding the greens or should I say a whole one and the picture the leaf is in half I didn’t even open the whole thing up and it’s already bigger than my hand I’m not sure if they will post the picture or not but it is on there and I am not the type to write reviews especially -ones but this just goes to show how unsatisfied and disappointed. I am if I Wasn’t on my way to my other shift I would have turned around and taking it back to get my money back five dollars almost. $6 for a small container of greens that I am not going to eat i want my money back and the yellow leaf, I threw out the window after...

We visited this location on May 26, Sunday first time here. The food was a bit disappointed . I got the fries with hush puppies had corn and very small fries was so white not done and the chicken wasn’t shredded like it was suppose to be bun was hard then a rock.

I only taste the chicken no taste at all this wasn’t barbecue nothing I could have done a better job then making simple barbecue sandwich. My fiancĂ©e had beef barbecue which look like hamburger helper bun was hard. Food wasn’t good at all. This first time and would be the last. Customers need to look at their food before they leave. Beans came in a little cup and yet the prices are so high $56.58. Should have went to store and brought the item and made real barbecue myself. Wouldn’t recommend anybody to go here if you want good barbecue go somewhere else.

Food has no taste at all and my barbecue sauce had been put into a small contain. Not on food barbecued chicken they just throw the buns on top of the chicken, where they do that at. Didn’t want to take pics which I should had we just throw the food in trash. My grandson, didn’t want any which I didn’t blame him.

Gave us our food and contain had grease all on just nasty like they don’t even wash their hands. which is a sure violation when handling food.

Pulled chicken not and sloppy Joe for real wasn’t pulled anything. Big chunks of chicken all in the platter more chicken than white fries and small corn balls. Hush puppies NOT!.

Never again and next time you serve new customers wash your hands when you give customers their food. First impressions was the last for me you...
