Rise Up Coffee — Restaurant in Maryland

We went for a blended drink and at the register we were told the blender was broken (they could have had a sign up bc their smoothie coffees are one of their best sellers). Coffees came out quick and were tasty. We waited 40 minutes for 3 food items. They gave no heads up about the wait time at the register (had they, we would have gone somewhere else). When they finally called our name I grabbed the bag. While I’m holding the bag, an employee switches the receipt on the bag I’m holding with a different persons receipt. I ask them if this is the correct food and they were very confused. It ended up not being our food and we proceed to wait another 10 minutes. The worst Rise Up location by a mile. First off, the inside setup is nightmarish. Where you order and pickup is a disaster, there's a giant table where the ordering line should go and it's beyond chaotic when it's busy. Ordering is also a disaster, there's no rhyme or reason to when the order will be ready, you might wait 30+ minutes or you might wait five and if you order ahead it's almost a guarantee your food will be cold. DO NOT ORDER BUSCUITS from this location. I have never in my life had a harder more inedible piece of food. It was so hard I nearly broke a tooth, I can't believe they would even attempt to make a sandwich with a biscuit harder than a brick. The coffee is pretty decent, but...

We were in Cambridge for a family event and left on 7/16/23. Not wanting a McD’s, Hardee’s etc , We Googled breakfast, Rise Up/Mad Eggs was on the list. Placed our order on line (as we were traveling with our pet and not comfortable leaving in the care b/c of heat & humidity). We ordered the Rise Up Burrito with chorizo scrambled eggs, potatoes and cheese. and another burrito with bacon, potatoes cheese and egg. Order was ready when we got there, all we had to do was pour coffee! Not sure how far this “chain” goes, but if you are in their neighborhood GOOD FOOD! We could use your breakfast around here...
