Went here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon with family. It was raining and we were looking forward to sitting down and enjoying ice cream together after lunch. Arrived to find their dining room closed with only walk up ordering available with a very small overhang covering the order area from the cold and rain. Asked if the inside dining area was closed just on Sunday and was told no it was closed permanently with no explanation offered. So much for enjoying ice cream together with the family. As far as the ice cream, I was not really a fan. Had a really rich and very creamy texture which I know some like but isn't my favorite. I prefer Hershey's brand ice cream, and this was creamier than that but didn't have as much flavor. The service was very good with a very pleasant and courteous young lady who took our order and prepared it quickly and with a smile. And to give credit where it's due, I thought the serving size was generous for the price. I don't think we'll go back because I wasn't crazy about the ice cream, and mostly because of no access to the dining room where you can sit down together...

Although greeted and served with a friendly smile, we were charged almost $17 for two very small hot fudge Sundaes. I was told that I could only have one flavor in my sundae. I asked if I could have two flavors if I paid a little more. She said yes. Who in good conscience charges $2.50 to switch flavors?? It wasnโt more ice cream, just two flavors instead of one. The only time previously that has ever happen to us is in Chicago for delicious specialty homemade ice cream. Guess what kind of ice cream this was?? Turkey Hill. That is hardly a premium ice cream. In fact in our home town, itโs the cheapest name brand ice cream at the supermarket. To top it off, there were no public restrooms available. You may want to think twice before paying these NYC prices especially when thereโs a Brusterโs near buy. We were sorry we made...
ย ย ย Read moreMy mom and I decided to try an ice cream shop that we've never gone to, and we definitely wasn't disappointed! Of course we went to Google maps to find a spot that accepts cards, because several near the home only take cash and I was too lazy to go to the bank. Anyway... We called Scoop-a-licious while driving on the highway and they took cards๐๐๐๐. When arriving, they have their inside closed due to COVID of course, and 6ft markings on the ground, sorry forgot to get pics. The menu is massive, several options for the whole family. My mom and I purchased the turtle and strawberry cheesecake Sundae...bomb.com. I loved mine and my mom loved hers! We will definitely be back to try...
