Stoney's Seafood House at Clarke's Landing — Restaurant in Maryland

Zero stars. Only thing good about here is the nice view. We had a family of 4 adults and one 3 year old. So 5 altogether. My husband myself and our daughter come here every year to visit our daughters grandparents that live here in Maryland. We are from west Texas so this is always a big deal for us as a family get together. and this place used to be tradition for us to enjoy the seafood here and get the steamers. We ordered 3 baby steamers, drinks, popcorn shrimp for our daughter and my mother had ordered sliders. Firstly, what went wrong is the bartender told us to seat ourselves. Secondly no one came to wait on us for about 20 minutes. No greeting. Nothing. They just kept walking by us without even a single acknowledgment. Miscommunication right there on their teams behalf. Thirdly, my mother had to go get the waiter to finally wait on us because he had no idea we were at his table apparently. The place I would say was sorta busy but not terrible. There were all empty tables inside most were outside on the back patio or in the sunroom. These were red flags to us and we should’ve just left then but this place as I had mentioned before is always tradition for us and we had never had such a HORRIFIC experience at ANY restaurant in general. We waited for our food for a long time about an hour give it take. My husbands steamer had an already eaten off of CHICKEN BONE in it. WE ORDERED NO CHICKEN WINGS OR ANYTHING CHICKEN RELATED. So this chicken bone came from some other persons plate apparently and somehow got into the cooked steamer of seafood he had. We were so DISGUSTED by this. Our daughters grandfathers steamer all the clams were empty, and My steamer was cold once I got it. And our daughters popcorn shrimp was way over cooked, And my mothers drink was made incorrectly. My mother cannot have grapefruit and her drink had grapefruit in it and the drink she ordered isn’t even to be made with grapefruit in it to begin with! Yes, the manager finally came to us and obviously did not charge us for anything because of this UNSANITARY mishap. She offered us a gift card to come back to them but that was our last time we will ever go back there. And if it was not already obvious we did not eat our food after we saw someone else’s eaten chicken bone in the mix of it. I am not writing this review for anything of “making it right” by this restaurant. They need to make some SERIOUS CHANGES HERE. This was so disgusting and...

This was my 2nd visit to this location in 2 years. The 1st visit we ate, and it was not busy at all,I think we were the only people eating at a table. We didn't see a server or anyone else to wait on us for about 20 -30 minutes. We ordered raw oysters and steamed oysters along with some appetizers and side. When they were finally served I asked for an oysters knife to help open the steamed ones,and was told they didn't have oyster knives? So I asked for a dinner knife, and was told all they had was plastic cutlery?? So we had to return the steamed ones Because we couldn't open them without risk of hurting our hands. Service never did improve, I think the bartender was handling everything alone?? So beginning of July I met a friend there for a drink and he arrived earlier than me,and placed a to go order to take home after we were done. I came in and there were 5-6 others at the bar. This was around 2 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. And as far as I saw there was only 1 server/ bartender etc. I didn't get waited on for about 20 minutes to order a drink. And I believe the reason I had to wait so long was because the bartender was in the kitchen filling my friends to go order?? Maybe he was also the cook? Because what should have happened was someone from the kitchen bring the to go order to the register so the bartender could wait on customers. Also once he did return he took care of the other people that were seated at the bar and had drinks. ?? I ordered a Orange crush which is pre-made so all they have to do is put ice in a glass, but it was a plastic cup and didn't even have a orange slice for $11.00 and tasted watered down or something, but definitely lacking the orange taste. I don't know,but at those priced I expected good service and at least a glass and a orange slice? I don't think I'm gonna give it the 3rd chance to be disappointed again. Wish I could have had at least 1 positive...

This place is so nasty if i could i would not even give it 1 star but because this is the only way i can voice my opinion 1 star it is . So myself and 8 others are here from all different starts down here on business decided to come eat here bad choice first we had a waitress that was a duh and the cook must of been a double duh duh we all ordered or drinks and told her to keep them coming well we had to ask for drinks and then the drinks came 30mins later after the reminder that we ordered more eveyone food came except one person we ask about it she said she put the order in put the cook forgot to make but you wrote all the orders on one paper then i order a hamburger thinking ok this have to be safe all i ask for waa mayo lettuce pickle a nd bacon and a hard fried eggs everything well done no pink in my meat and my not to be runny i recieved the opposite raw meat runny egg and cheese am like dam sent it back lol came back the same. We ordered appetizer crab dip , fried greens beans, fried oysters, all came out but no saucer plates to eat our off. We were the only people in there and we waited a while for our food. So then some kids came in about 5 of them they ordered their drinks they came right away they ordered thier food and appetizer crab dip they received plates and because their cheap kids meals didnt come out in 15 mins because they didnt wait as long we waited for anything the waitnees told them the drinks were on them. And trust me their bill total didnt even meet one of other bills. This was the worst place i been to in maryland and the worst service. And there are some nasty restaurants in maryland trust me. I been other cities here and yet to find a restaurant i would like to return too i been up here in September 2018 came back in February 2019 and now June 2019 I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET TO TEXAS WHERE THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE WAITRESS NO THIER...
