Tried the shrimp salad had a good solid taste and the shrimp were very meaty.
Shrimp tacos were very tasty and I would get them again.
Prime rib sandwich was okay. It had too much fat and gristle (that's why I was just only okay) the horseradish sauce on it was tasty but on the mild side but you did notice it was on there. Decent roll with crisp lettuce and great tomatoes otherwise.
The cream of crab wasn't as thick as the menu described but had a pretty good taste. For the Sherry lovers, I couldn't tell if it had it. There was an amazing amount of lump crab meat.
No air conditioning other than fans inside and a sweet breeze. If you want to eat inside they have a handicap chair lift or a good 20 steps at least to get up to the small bar. Inside seating is very limited to about 20 people at the bar on the second floor (about five tables and no high tops). There is seating at the bar also. Great service from the bartender upstairs (Jenny or Ginny?)
If you don't mind the Heat or cold, the outdoor seating has amazing views of the marina and water! The tiki hut is pretty good size and holds probably 100 people at least (only picnic tables). I would love to sit out there if they had a couple regular tables that you could slide a chair under but they don't have that. They do have individual tables with individual umbrellas that have about four seats per but they usually don't cover you on a sunny day so that doesn't work for me but all of the outdoor seating has amazing views along the water. Must be able to traverse sand for most of the outdoor seating. Have a really cool Bridge that you must be able to cross with a slight Arch to get to the tiki hut. Wheelchairs may have a problem going across the gravel parking lot and the grade of the bridge will be a little challenging getting across to the tiki hut. Like I said before they do have the wheelchair lift that takes you up to the second floor bar with tables that you can sit at but it is a snug fit up there so patients will be required for Wheelchairs and Walkers to navigate. There was no bathroom in the second floor bar but I'm assuming they have one somewhere.
Accepts Mastercard at least. Did not check to see what...

There are very few times I will refuse to go to a restaurant ever again but the island at flying point has been awarded such honors.
First trip was a Friday evening around 530pm and we waited about 15 minutes for a table. No problem. The hostess walked a minimum of 30 to 40 feet in front of us to sit us. A little annoying but the views of the water are great we can let it slide. We sit get menus and told a waitress will help us shortly. 620pm comes and we have been looked at by waitresses and runners but not a single hello, have you been helped, can we start you with any drinks. Absolutely no service what so ever. We get up leave and not a single staff member cares.
Okay they are newer we will give them another shot. We go this evening 9/3/22. Arrive at 520 and seated immediately. Okay this is going better so far. 530 no one has stopped by our table. 540 we ask a runner if we could have a waitress we've been sitting for 20 minutes with no help. He assure he will get someone. I don't hold my breath. 5: 50 comes. No one. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my entire life. There were maybe 15 or 16 tables sat including ours and at least 4 or 5 waitresses running tables. There is no excuse for anyone to sit at a table for 10 minutes without being said something to never the less 30 minutes on 2 different occasions. The property is great and the views are awesome. If I am tricked to going back again I'll pack a cooler and...
Read moreThe owners of this restaurant and bar have a big issue on their hands. They obviously dumped a lot of money into turning this place into something really nice, but, are being undermined by their staff.
This review is the same as MULTIPLE other reviews recently where someone said they were seated but never received service. That's exactly what happened to my wife and me on a Wednesday night around 6:30 PM. Place was pretty dead (maybe 5 tables in use), hostess told us we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose two rocking chairs overlooking the river and were given our menus by the same hostess. 20 minutes went by without any service from either of the servers. Oh, they were walking around serving other customers, but paid us absolutely no mind. That's obviously unacceptable, so, we decided to leave. We dropped the menus off to the hostess and let her know that we were never waited on... she looked at one of the two waiters who just happened to be standing there talking to her and was like "Dave?!?!" (or whatever his name was). We just kept walking and left.
Couple of problems here: no service in 20 minutes of waiting on a dead night at a restaurant. Strike one. As we were leaving, we told the hostess that we never received service in 20 minutes... she didn't apologize for the inconvenience, nor offer to reseat us with immediate service. Strike two.
I think we'll pass on...
