El Rey Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Marysville

My boyfriend seems to love this place for some reason lol I’ve gave it multiple try’s way more than I really should have. Had the super burrito their salsa is watery in it and literally soaks your whole burrito, had the taquitos they were burnt and basically hallow. Just got their “red enchilada” if you could even call it that. I don’t know if they taste their food before selling it to other people but their beans, rice, chicken and basically everything else on their menu has no flavor. The red sauce is basically non existing with the huge lack of flavor there. The Mexican rice is basically white rice with a hint of food coloring. The chicken basically soaked in water like they just pulled it straight out of a bucket of water and threw it all together…over all you could spend your money else where for cheaper and better food. We went here awhile back and food was great. Today we went to get lunch and I ordered a chicken enchilada plate. There was no lettuce,tomato,sour cream, guacamole like before. The rice is so bland taste like it's only tomato sauce no garlic,bell pepper,onion nothing bland as it could be. Really disappointed since we had went before and the food was excellent! But not today they really should taste the food before serving the service is excellent really nice people in there but for 37$ for what we ordered is not worth the price the quality is not great at all. I have all ways came hear for the breakfast burrito I am the ham guy so ham breakfast burrito with their hot sauce I think I can eat that for 4 mornings of the week. But I have got the super burrito cheap and you have to just pour some of their sauce on top make it a wet burrito eat it on the plate around this area you cant beat the over all price quality and customer service . At el Rey's they have a nice size menu .
