Clear Creek — Restaurant in Maryville

Hello my Muchies , If you happen to find yourself are around the Maryville, MO. area. Clear Creek may be a place for a quick bite or just hanging around having drinks with locals. It's a small Bar with outside seating. When I visited, there was a singer strumming along some nice country songs. It's always nice listening to music while eating. There is a sizeable menu to pick from which includes burgers, sandwiches, wings, shrimp, salads, etc. I tried the Angry Irishman Sandwhich. This was a smoked corned beef sandwhich with kraut, bacon, grilled jalapeños and thousand island dressing. Compared to city style, I rated this a (4). Not bad for a small town bite. Stopped in for a highly recommended lunch here today while in town for work, to sum up my visit it was phenomenal. I had the loaded chicken philly mac and cheese. The chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned, the combination of tastes could not have been better. I would definitely say if you haven't eaten here it is a definite MUST. The chef came out and talked to everyone which helps complete the personal friendly atmosphere. The establishment also serves alcohol which would make the prefect place for your next social outing. Food was under cooked servers inattentive. Bartenders were drunk before 6 pm. And when I finally flagged down a server they were extremely rude and told me that we were not her table but she would tell someone we needed service and we still waited another 8 minutes. By time our food got to the table our food had been sitting in the window for a while. My burger was pink in the middle, Fry's were a bit on the stale side and I found hair in my food my girlfriends catfish was undercooked and her side salad had lettuce that looked browned and past freshness date.
