Smokeys Pizza — Restaurant in Maryville

We normally always get yalls food because we love it! ALL of it, however this evening my sons father ordered dinner for our family we normally use the the East lamar location because it's close to our house tonight he tried calling that location to make an order a few times with no answer so he listened to the audio message that states short staffed and to order online for faster service or try calling back again so in which he went online and made our order and he was taken back as to why it told him his order would be delivered Wednesday at 1130 am. So because nothing stated they were in fact closed tonight not on the audio message when calling NOTHING. He gets our son dressed and decides to drive over there to see what had happened and they were in fact closed and okay not a big deal he wasent mad what so ever so like any other human being his other thought was to call the other location this location was open all he was trying to do was speak to a manager so he could maybe figure out what to do about this situation and maybe the manager could give him some advice on what he should do and when just wanting information from a superior who would normally be the one to talk to about this type of hiccup HOWEVER a woman answers and when my sons father asked to speak to a manager she proceeded to ask what the reason was he explained it to her she put him on hold for about 5 minutes then got back on the phone with a ridiculous sassy attitude telling him the manager was cooking and that there is nothing that they specifically could do to help from that location it would need to be dealt with from the east lamar location (understandable) but instead of just simply being decent about this she chose to be VERY RUDE and say that following she tried to explain that to him but since she wasent the manager that he just didn't want to hear that from her. When he never said that himself nor gave any reason to speak to him that way. He didn't get her name before reacting to her attitude issues and hanging up. This is unacceptable behavior especially when a very loyal customer was just seeking help with an issue and he wasent even mad until he encountered your very rude employee. You probably just lost a family of 6 who really loves the food and used to love the service and workers but after tonight...

My brother and i went there to order for take out.....his order was taken in moderate time seeing as she had an order on the phone....the time it took to for her to get the order down took longer than his wait....plus a misleading sign, i thought 4 dollars to upgrade "pizzas" meant both on the order.....we were informed it meant 4 dollars each after she quickly glanced at the menu..... Didnt know how to fully use the computer to take the order, she had to call someone to ask.....after waiting almost twenty minutes standing face to face with the sever and two other customers served that walked in after me and a phone call answered, my order was finally taken....halfway through she stopped taking my order to answer the phone without saying a word....apologized to the customer on the phone and told them she is the manager.....hangs up and starts taking my order like the phone call never happened.....i make a simple request to i have my appetizers as soon as they come out as to give my brothers son a snack while we wait bc he was saying he was starving, step outside for a minute come in and they were hanging above the frier....i mentioned it and was told they are almost done.....literally a minute after i got them the pizza came out.....once she handed me my pizza she proceeded to stand behind the counter and play on her phone rather than do something productive with her time.....probably the worst customer service ive had in a long time....i will not be going back...

My family & I went in to order a pizza. As soon as we walked through the door, I noticed one of the workers turn & start complaining to another employee about us coming in. We didn't realize they closed at 9, however we still had 20 mins before they closed. So, there was plenty of time to make a pizza & still close on time. We walked to the counter & stood there for about 3/4 mins before anyone came to take our order bc they were all discussing whether they were going to serve us or not. Finally a lady walks over & hands us a menu, but tells us the grill was already shut down. My thoughts were, they don't close for 20 mins, so why is the grill shut down? But, I didn't say anything bc we were tired & just wanted to grab a pizza & go home. As I was looking over the menu, I noticed another man kept checking his watch. So I just told my husband we could leave bc I wasn't going to stand there while they were all being rude & trying to rush us. Needless to say, we will never be back. If they want to be rude & run their customers off, we can go spend our...
