Long story short, I brought my 15yo son down to a Corey Smith concert as part of his birthday celebration. He and I decided to include his girlfriend and take her along with us. The events of our evening began when we were attempting to purchase tickets at the gate. I wanted to purchase 3 tickets which would have been $105. I wanted to pay $100 cash and put the remaining $5 on my card. The lady was insistent that they don’t do such a thing and at first recommended that I go inside and use their ATM to obtain the remaining money. I then informed her that I have 2 teens with me and I’m not leaving them alone. We were finally able to settle things and get our tickets. Later in the evening my son had escorted his girlfriend to the restroom which was within eyeshot of where I was sitting. She had an upset stomach and eventually vomited outside of the restrooms. When my son asked for help, a gentleman approached and asked if she had been drinking…. A 14YO KID… ok… it’s that type of establishment and that’s probably something they deal with frequently so I let it go. The gentleman then overheard her tell my son that it could be a virus or bug that she didn’t know but her stomach was upset. Now, back up a couple of hours and she had eaten a spicy chicken sandwich from Chick Fil A (the likely culprit). The gentleman who came then called the “lady in charge” and mentioned to her that someone had vomited and it could possibly be a virus or bug. During this time, my son and his girlfriend had made their way back to me. We were later approached by 3 gentlemen wearing staff uniforms and informed that “the lady in charge” wanted for us to leave due to it potentially being a virus or bug. No refund was offered or received after driving 2 hours to see a show for my son’s 15th birthday. Kudos The Shed Smokehouse & Juke Joint, I will not be patronizing either of your establishments...

First time there last nite, and hopefully won't be my last, to see one of my fave bands, JACKYL, THEY put on a helluva show they still ROCK still after all these years!!! Really nice venue, nice set up and friendly nice ppl and event staff, didn't get to try any of that good smelling bbq inspired food, maybe next time cause lines were pretty long, but it smelled really good &it has to be to have such lines. Would like to make one suggestion though if they would call the BigAssFan Company, they could install them one of their bigass commercial ceiling fans for the middle of the shed and it would create enough breeze for ppl under the shed as well as the seating areas on both sides of the shed, their fans are as big as the biggest helicopter blades on the biggest helicopter you could ever see or imagine that the military has or has big as any commercial helicopter blades as well, seriously cause the sweltering heat was the only bad thing about the whole venue, besides getting our seats we brought stolen lol, cause we decided not to use them and put them under one of the camera guys perchs as they were filming and got too involved in the concert and watching it and having such a good time to see who snatched them up and took off with them, but other then those two things the whole venue was a AWESOME...

Went to The Shed Smokehouse for lunch yesterday. Got there when it opened at 11:30am. We had the whole place to ourself. The bartender waited on us and she was friendly and attentive. She explained everything and made suggestions. I got a BBQ pork plate and for my two sides got baked beans and sweet coleslaw. The pork was very diffrent, it came out redish brown. Upon eating it, to my delight think it was like a wet rub they do thier meat with. It was fantastic almost a sweet smoked flavor but in the background not overpowering. The meat was good enough to eat with no sauce, seriously that good. I did however try the sweet sauce and it was excellent. Not a big fan of mustard sauce but tried it and it didn't suck just not my cup of tea. The beans were all kinds of brown sugar sweet and the sweet coleslaw was unique but very good. The cheddar jalapeno corn bread was awesome. My girlfriend got a pulled chicken wrap and loved it as well. Most meals are $10.70 which come with one meat and two sides with cornbread. They have a full bar, music venue and the dealership with Harley Davidson merchandise. It's a beautiful place to eat full of bikes, posters, artwork, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. I highly recommend a visit to the restaurant and may catch a band one day. Great experience...

Ribs looked good, smoked wings looked good, they don't have brisket on concert days, Cheeseburgers are made to order,Pulled Pork was dry as jerky, way overcooked. Bbq beans and mac and cheese are mid level. From the atmosphere/concert side of things, absolutely top notch!!! Part of large Harley dealership, so everything centered around motorcycle culture and I am OK with that. Plenty of friendly people to get you parked very close to venue, any closer and I would have been inside of it. 😆 Primarily an outdoor patio with huge picnic tables, there is a fairly large bar inside a big garage door, I would assume it serves as restaurant on non concert days. Very big counter outside to order food, several beer/non alcoholic drinks bars and a dedicated by the pour whisky bar. Moderate sized stage under a large red steel pavilion. Lawn chairs are permitted but you have to sit on the wings in the open. Under the "shed" is Standing Room Only. I'm 58 years old and okay with that. Drove 3 hours to see Govt Mule here. Would I do it again? Without hesitation, YES!!! I think of a lot of places that could learn a thing or three on how to run an event. Besides the Pulled Pork and maybe it was a one off because of increased show business, I will be looking forward to more trips to The Shed.
